Teachers and Doctors get paid a very respectable amount for the jobs they do, so why should they get a freebie whenever a factory worker has to pay his own way? Nobody on here has yet suggested allowing unemployed or homeless folk in for free. Surely someone who has lost his job or home in the current economic climate would be a wee bit more deserving than some middle class t*** from the Mearns with elbowpadded blazers and a Volvo. Actually, that's fair enough, and I agree with it. I didn't phrase my post well. I said *if* we're going to go down the profession route I'd rather it was that one. But I'd sooner we didn't bother with it at all. Morton are one of the few clubs that still give a discount to the unemployed (I used it a few years ago), which I think is commendable.
