I didn't see arguments with landlords then. Cos it wasn't up for debate - I take it you're talking about either before the smoking ban was mooted, or after it became policy. Folk would have an opinion about it but it wasn't as contentious an issue because the decision had been made, end of story - there wasn't any point in arguing the toss with the landlord or anyone else, it was a done deal and that was that "Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right......."
