HamCam
No Cappielow for me yesterday but a visit to Yarrow Park for the Lowland League fixture between Selkirk and Spartans. Until I arrived I had no idea that the Lowland League was hosting Groundhop Day. Very strange experience like being at a convention of train-spotters - notebooks and cameras all part of the uniform. A crowd of nearly 300 of which 200 were largely white middle-aged men attending game 2 of 3 that day. Stalls around the ground selling obscure badges and programmes. As for the amount and range of food on offer! On the footbsll front two things stood out. Firstly how in the name of the wee man did Spartans ever beat Morton - they were awful and I mean awful. Secondly how far has O'Connor fallen - fat and unfit to the point that he now looks like an oldie playing Sunday pub league football.
cornbeef
You must have stood out like sore thumb with you not having a notebook, I mean. So O'Connor playing for Selkirk now ? at least he's still playing after a fashion. A warning to the young players hopefully.
