ThornTON
With Stranraer currently struggling to get 400 fans through the gates, they have given out 1500 free season tickets to primary school children in the area. The other deal is £2 for kids, that's no big deal though as QP are £2 for under 18s, students and OAPs... http://www.scottishfootballleague.com/news...amp;newsid=3392

It is a good idea, but the downside is you get an atmosphere of weans singing & that just sounds terrible. Wee Dublin End
Livvy used to give out free tickets to skool-wains and the skool-wains used to stand outside and flog them to the visiting fans for a fiver, including me, and we'd walk round to the visiting end of the groon after we were in; it's no a fool proof system. puggsy_ton
It's been done in the past, along with kids for a quid, and they never hang around after this!
longboat
A good idea, todays kids = tomorrows paying customers Foobs I agree, start them early. How else are they going to learn to learn the correct behaviour if not from the WDE faithful: 1. Effin' and blindin' 2. Dunken/loutish behaviour 3. Cursing at the officials 4. How to support Morton players by spitting invictives at them to motivate them Yes, let's keep the intergenerational links going so we never forget the correct way to support our team. Like fathers like sons! (No girls please, they listen to their mothers).
ThornTON
4. How to support Morton players by spitting invictives at them to motivate them I know it's late, but for some reason got to laugh when people try and sound smart by using fancy words, and spell them wrong... LargsTON
As opposed to the tumbleweed atmosphere we usually get at Cappielow? I'd prefer tumbleweed, to be honest. We won't have to worry about a lack of atmosphere as soon as we get it right on the park. "CORNBEEF IS A BELLEND"

I agree, weans screaming for 90 mins just does the nut in, but maybe it would shame some ton fans into actually backing the team while we are playing. Getting it right on the park however may never happen. We are a MEAN diddy team!!! SITTING ON THE FENCE!!! m1874 Blog<<<..V..>>>Ernies Blog GMST make your own mind up. "Hey!!!
