cappielowking
Alex Rae at the age of 40 played last night for MK Dons coming on the 80th min in the 3-1 loss to Southampton in the Johnstones Paint Trophy Southern Area Final second leg. The first team coach came on for his first appearance in a competitive match since October 2007. Apparently he did alright for his short spell by all accounts and didn't look out of place in a team that were short of him. I met him last week at a fans forum, seemed like a decent guy a sort of jack the lad type guy. Discussed a little bit about Morton with him, though the big talking point was MK probably bringing Gary Mckenzie down from Dundee in the summer. capitanus
Very unpalatable, Alex Rae and MK Dons in the same sentence. On a brighter note, I saw the Blue Square premier table the other day and saw that AFC Wimbledon were near the top. With any luck they'll be back to where they belong soon, and with any luck MK Dons will be bust. *insert signature here*
