I'm fine with that update. Crawford leaving as expected is a sore one. Don't mind Gillespie or Broadfoot being offered new deals as we know what we get from both players and they are experienced pros who will be a positive influence on the club and teammates.

Dundee United release Sadat Anaku, Mark Birighitti, Layton Bisland, Logan Chalmers, Flynn Duffy, Declan Glass, Scott McMann, Archie Meekison, Chris Mochrie, Craig Moore and David Wotherspoon. Glass and mcmann have looked like decent players over the last few seasons.

Not surprised especially on the back of an unbeaten season. Like Dunfermline they always have a high uptake .

Thinking about potential targets Ross Millen would be a solid championship signing. Would love to see Jamie Brandon back too. Haven't heard much more about Bird from Arbroath. If ICT go down there's a few decent players there. Wouldn't be averse to Samuel coming back. Like the boy mcallister in midfield too. Is ricky lamie playing for Dundee?

Far too early for that talk. Let's see who we retain from the current squad and then what incoming signings there is. Hopefully we have something resembling a squad by the start of the league Cup section.

Unfortunately we can't and shouldn't be trying to compete with Partick. Crawford is a good player and I'm gutted he's going but he's not irreplaceable. Dougie will hopefully have planned ahead for players staying and going.

Couldn't agree more. Anyone suggesting we don't make attempts to re-sign our top goalscorer is just being silly. Anyone but them. However if they are offering a 2/3 year deal and throwing money at the big man then you couldn't hold it against him.
