Guest capitanus
https://www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11854/11992384/san-siro-demolition-moves-step-closer-with-approval-from-italys-heritage-authority Just read that there are plans to demolish and redevelop the San Siro. For those of us of a certain age group, the San Siro and AC Milan was probably the most highly regarded team and stadium in World football, a bit like the Bernabeu or Nou Camp are for a younger generation. I always wanted to go there, but don't know if I'll get there before it's demolished now.
TAFKAC
I thought it was rebuilt completely for the 1990 World Cup. I've been. It's a big concrete bowl, although the corner bits are impressive. Pedrodelawasp
I thought it was rebuilt completely for the 1990 World Cup. I've been. It's a big concrete bowl, although the corner bits are impressive. It would be really nice if they could echo that element in the new design, with the four huge pillars holding the roof structure, just with far less concrete elsewhere.
