Flyerton
Some people might think these numbers are included in their 'inclusive' minutes on their mobile phone plan. In fact, they are actually charged at outside of inclusive minutes prices by the majority of mobile operators in the UK. The majority of inclusive minutes only include calls to numbers starting with 01, 02 and 03 and UK mobile networks. There's an app on the Android Market where you can type the number starting '08' or company name and get the '01' number equivalent. http://www.appbrain.com/app/say-no-to-0870....android.no0870 More info: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/0870-say-no#cost
ThornTON
I'm trying hard to think of a better way to say this than "no fucking shit". Nah, that'll do.
Flyerton
The latest version of this app will also give you the option to install the 'Say No To 0870 Call Intercept' Basically, as soon as you type 0844 etc it will ask if you would like to look for a non '08' number instead. Pro version without ads only costs £1.
