Don't agree with everything he says or does but at least he's put himself forward and in the spotlight over the years. Volunteering for something that people feel so passionate about is a thankless task.

Think this is another Dodds story where he makes more of it then it is. Another way it could be written is the guy went to Carlisle where the wages will be a lot higher and they don't comment on contract offers.

Got to imagine Carlisle are offering decent wages and more than us when they've got Mark Hughes as manager. The way the article is written makes it sound pretty bad though.

Assuming he never worked his notice or something but, given he must've worked more than his contracted hours to keep the pitch in a decent state when it was rented out and he's own his own, it's a pretty petty way of working. He's also been a big part of the community over the time he's been here apart from the good job he's done on the pitch.

Might be an option of Stupernavic coming back depending on where he is in his recovery. Still under contract with Motherwell but can't imagine him being near the first team.

I'd have thought he'd already be off if that was the case. I'd love to know what better options he thinks he'll get or the case the agent is making for a better offer after the season he had though (although I suppose he could argue he started most games).

What do you want communicated? The club will get money, people will see the brand on tops and the club will promote the sponsor in whatever way the sponsorship terms were agreed. There's a been a lot of poor/ lack of communication but things like this are just nit picking.

Millen got suspended for allegedly fighting with a director of another team and presumably they just let his contract run out rather than going down the sacking route and potentially ending up getting into some sort of legal dispute on a dismissal. I'd be shocked if he was back and assume it wasn't just a Dale decision. A change of assistant might actually work out well - some fresh ideas and new contacts to try get players so will be interesting to see who comes in.

He played the majority of games. Was out the first ten or so and only missed three after that - plenty of time to get up to speed and impress.
