  1. He sounds more like a purveyor of fine art than a footballer.
  2. If he can contribute on a weekly basis and not disappear when we're in the trenches he'll be just as valuable as our recently departed hero.
  3. I'm genuinely quite happy he's away. Give his wages to big George.
  4. I know it is and i hope my fears are unfounded.
  5. I'll admit to being a panic merchant on this occasion but even now I've a really bad feeling about next season.
  6. As I've said before if and when he leaves I'll be very surprised if he moves in an upward trajectory.
  7. I think O'connor is our best centre back. I'd be disappointed if he's released.
  8. Sounds very promising especially if he's in the Oakley mould. Just hope he's a back up or a partner for Oakley and not a replacement.
  9. Did anyone watch the Welsh cup on Sunday to provide an opinion of Davies?
  10. Barely anyone around me left before the final whistle and nobody is "ripping their knitting" anywhere. As the poster above says its just basic manners to return the applause to people who have paid their hard earned money over the season.
  11. Notable just about every player ran straight up the tunnel at FT bar one or two, also quite telling Gillespie took his time to leave the field after being one of only 3 or 4 to acknowledge the support. Maybe I'm reading too much into but a larger clear out than expected may be on the cards?
  12. I'm not sure mate. Very few players a few months short of their 37th birthday have another full season left starting as a main striker most weeks. I think Graham will be a much depleted force next season.
  13. I think it could be the other way around with Graham approaching 37. If its purely down to wages I'd like to think we could keep him for the sake of a couple of hundred quid a week, especially with the supposed increased budget.
