Barely anyone around me left before the final whistle and nobody is "ripping their knitting" anywhere.
As the poster above says its just basic manners to return the applause to people who have paid their hard earned money over the season.
Notable just about every player ran straight up the tunnel at FT bar one or two, also quite telling Gillespie took his time to leave the field after being one of only 3 or 4 to acknowledge the support. Maybe I'm reading too much into but a larger clear out than expected may be on the cards?
I'm not sure mate. Very few players a few months short of their 37th birthday have another full season left starting as a main striker most weeks. I think Graham will be a much depleted force next season.
I think it could be the other way around with Graham approaching 37. If its purely down to wages I'd like to think we could keep him for the sake of a couple of hundred quid a week, especially with the supposed increased budget.
With regards to next season I'd be happy if we kept Mullen, Baird, O'Connor, Strapp, Wilson, Crawford, Blues and Oakley. Not that arsed about the rest.
Well if we're 6 figures in the black I'd like to see Imries budget increased further allowing us to aim for a higher placed finish which would potentially offset any increase through prize money. Do we have details of the difference between the budget of this season and next?
