  1. Dean Keenan - oh wait!
  2. Yesterday was depressing and the first half up there as one of the worst 45 minutes I have ever witnessed. It is a struggle to see light at the end of the tunnel. While the players failed on the park, Imrie has rightly taken the blame for the starting eleven. There is however no acknowledgement our 'modern' style of football is not working and we are getting bullied all over the park. Sadly we are stuck with this squad for the foreseeable and unless there is a miraculous turn around we face a relegation battle. The fans were not shy in their reaction and it is not unreasonable to expect some to find other ways to spend their afternoons than following Morton. Once again at a ridiculously early time in the season we are at a crossroads. I just hope Imrie has a plan.
  3. The only surprise was Lennon lasted eight games.
  4. What is really not helping this season is the drop off in the form of Wilson. He is a shadow of the player of the last couple of seasons.
  5. All the expanded budget has got us is a bloated squad of average footballers with almost zero creativity. Imrie also has no idea of his best line up.
  6. Our season so far in a nutshell.
  7. Harsh on Garrity but the changes look a response to how Ayr line up.
  8. I think we all want to be upbeat but anyone who has watched the first quarter has to acknowledge we have not played well. It is a positive we have not had many defeats but for the most part we have been second best and a hard watch.
  9. Please don't tell me it was offside.
  10. A great finish from Tomi. Then to concede was typical Morton this season - it was a howler. Thankfully we showed more desire to get the winner. If only Garrity offered that kind of delivery more often. A deserved win that hopefully breeds confidence going forward.
  11. Turgid stuff against very poor opposition. Neither side looked like scoring. As poor as the service is to Tomi he has to show some effort. I still remain hopeful we will score but no idea how - much like the team.
  12. No surprise Dougie got another apology for the latest refereeing howler. Three this early in a season is unacceptable. As much as I would like the luck to even out I cannot see that happening.
  13. Further evidence the increased budget has only bought quantity not quality in the squad. We remain a hard watch and a hard team to like.
  14. Let's not be negative. We trained well all week and had more corners. Wins are so over-rated.
