  1. Can we not just get your namesake to invade Kilmacolm and make it part of the USA?
  2. I'm just relieved he never inherited the kit with tape over the previous incumbents initials.
  3. For those shouting for Ballantyne they were clearly not in attendance up in Perth. None of our defenders appear able to stay focused for 90 minutes. We lack belief and we lack leadership. There is some ability in the squad but you would find more backbone in a jellyfish. Best of luck to Ian Murray.
  4. Not just Morton - https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/15749223/spfl-ayr-united-david-smith-scottish-championship/
  5. While MCT should have reflected more on publishing the Laird resignation on the club website they have subsequently acknowledged it was a mistake. I struggle to buy into the notion though it can be interpreted as siding with Laird. I have always had reservations about MCT but I have never doubted it is a well intentioned organisation staffed by volunteers. The important thing now is to regroup and move on. Appointing Murray looks to be a step in the right direction.
  6. All reported by the Daily Record - https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/transfer-news-live-celtic-rangers-36466655 Scroll down and let your eyes bleed.
  7. Talk about dodging a bullet. Until Laird flounced off he was actively looking at Michael Tidser, Allan Johnston, John Rankin and James McPake. The man was trolling us with a short list of candidates aimed at alienating fans. Kelty after a seven figure compensation package for Michael Tidser! On the plus side if we are offering an 18 month deal to Ian Murray it suggests Dalrada are still on board.
  8. The issue with GMFC pushing the Laird narrative for walking away is everyone else is playing catch up and on the defensive. Regardless of where the truth lies it was a mistake to allow it to happen. Could the last person standing at Cappielow please turn the lights off
  9. Or without a John Laird. We are a shambles.
  10. The value of shares in Morton is not significant. For the moment MCT and Dalrada are the only shows in town. I know everyone seems to know of a local investor or group of investors with money to burn but when it mattered only DDFR fronted up.
  11. Sad news. He is the exact type of player we need at Morton now. He did the hard yards and gave his all for the team. Not flash but you never questioned his commitment to the cause. Another one from a much better era now gone.
  12. Another grim Saturday watching Morton this season, The lack of return from the alleged increase in spending is concerning. We were an embarrassment today. The problem is the fans do not know who to blame for the current shambles. As for Davies ducking the post match interview - what a coward.
  13. Another insipid performance with no-one taking responsibility. Every goal was avoidable. Once again it is how many goals St Johnstone want to score - we will just watch like chocolate decorations on the tree.
  14. Davies should be nowhere near the management role given his most recent delusional interview ramblings on how great we were last week. If only Airdrie did not score and we did.
  15. I did - it came back with John Laird.
