Delighted to see the adults in the room are keeping it professional and not personal. If only the club's bank balance was as inflated as the egos involved we would be one of the biggest shows in town.

Not sure it is the worst but Garrity is one of a group of youngsters we all hoped would kick on - the rest have moved on while Garrity continues to infuriate.

He must surely have the worst record as a manager of Morton?

A couple of weeks ago, I was expecting this season to be a disaster movie with relegation a certainty and my main hope being for us to avoid a record low points total. Having now assembled a squad of players I have largely never heard of previously I have started to think of the promotion play-offs.

I still cannot get my head around the three stakeholders back talking when the only thing they appeared to agree on is there was nothing further to talk about. None of them have any credibility. We must be a proper basket case of a club. As for everyone talking about transparency...

When it comes to Morton life is never dull.

If you don't want to put money in now that is your prerogative but why would you want to stop other fans looking to help the club?

I think that is stretching it. Most people I know who have come forward, including myself have reacted to the we need cash plea. You can argue it was too soon to be getting the begging bowl out but I don't see it as an issue especially as it was a reaction to some Morton fans request.

Another game where you struggle to believe we will score. It just looks as if the team feels sorry for itself. Surely the second half will be better?

I was referring to the club talking up the players likely to come back for the Arbroath game - Murray appears to have got ahead of himself.

The club do like marching us up to the top of the hill only to disappoint.

That is an interesting comment as I take the opposite view. I have never been convinced of the current model and recent events just reinforces the view that most fans do not have the necessary skill sets to hold the GMFC Board to account. Don't get me wrong I admire those who put themselves forward but if we are being honest has it worked other than being a cash cow for a GMFC Board that does not appear to recognise they have a duty of care to the main shareholder? When did anyone think fans and/or members deserved to know the truth about our finances and/or the inability of all three stakeholders to work together? As a club we are constantly on the back foot being reactive to events rather than proactive. Why should anyone think it is going to change with the same people in charge? In the circumstances, I am not inclined to join MCT but looks to help the club in other ways.

Not being a member of MCT, I am merely an interested fan and shareholder reading the comments with interest and dismay. None of the three stakeholders come out of this debacle with much if any credit. It does not give me any confidence in the running of the club going forward. As Dunning has stated, without Dalrada paying some of their debts in the next couple of months we will struggle to pay our outgoings. We all know where this leads. As fans we can raise some emergency funds but without major investment or sponsorship it is difficult to see how we can fulfill our football and financial obligations this season. In the circumstances, I do feel for the club employees who are desperately trying to hold it together. I also have sympathy with Murray and the players who are caught in the middle. Murray may have done a dreadful job but considering what we now know what chance did he/does he have? Oh well at least we can rely on the bus brothers, the legendary 10 local business men (are there still 10 businesses going locally?), the four riders of the apocalypse, Jesus and the disciples, Catman, Chris McEleny... to come to the rescue.

The way the meeting is heading I suspect you turn up and get given a dart to throw. If you get an odd number you are counted as a yes and an even is a no. It just means there is more time to talk about pies.
