Many seasons ago I got fed up asking the club to take money off me so I just gave up. Despite the pleadings of poverty every season no surprise the money making side of the club remains a shambles.

At every level our club continues to shoot itself in the foot. When you are begging fans to turn up the least you can do is let the paying customer in rather than leave them out on the rain before subjecting them to yet another pitiful performance. It has been said many times already this season but despite an improved budget we padded out the squad with mediocrity. So many require to be emptied.

A dreadful performance and sadly typical of Morton in this cup. It is easy with hindsight to criticise team selection but given the opposition we should have been more than capable of coping. The fault for me rests with the players - they never performed on the night.

Lamie was a great lad for us but in recent years he has been injury prone and miles off the pace. As much as I liked he went should be moving on.

Not exciting but a very winnable tie which is important when every penny counts.

The priority today was to progress into the next round. Not convincing but we are in the draw tomorrow.

Tittle tattle with the odd grain of truth and plenty of disinformation. Amazing how many Morton fans were so willing to jump on the bandwagon.

Not the ideal time to be looking for a new manager. Most of the names in the frame are uninspiring. Davies should only be the short term option. Off to rewrite my Santa list to see if Pep wants a fresh challenge.

If true that is very disappointing news. I guess loyalty may not be a two way street. Leaving us with a dinosaur in the hot seat is not a cause for optimism.

Yesterday was depressing and the first half up there as one of the worst 45 minutes I have ever witnessed. It is a struggle to see light at the end of the tunnel. While the players failed on the park, Imrie has rightly taken the blame for the starting eleven. There is however no acknowledgement our 'modern' style of football is not working and we are getting bullied all over the park. Sadly we are stuck with this squad for the foreseeable and unless there is a miraculous turn around we face a relegation battle. The fans were not shy in their reaction and it is not unreasonable to expect some to find other ways to spend their afternoons than following Morton. Once again at a ridiculously early time in the season we are at a crossroads. I just hope Imrie has a plan.

The only surprise was Lennon lasted eight games.
