The only thing keeping Murray in a job is the lack of funds to sack him. It just highlights the absurdity of the Board allowing him to spend money, we don't have, on a vanity signing. This is why we need MCT as the majority shareholder to stand up and ask questions - no wonder people like me have no faith in the fan ownership model. Sadly another week goes by and everything and everyone associated with the club is a laughing stock.

That is a lame response from Barr to another PR debacle. Murray should have no say in the club cutting costs by accommodating passengers in the squad including McLuckie the opportunity to move off the wage bill. Murray should be focused on getting the most out of a sizeable squad. If Murray had tossed his toys out the pram at McLuckie being shipped out so much the better. However it is dressed up other club's fans will see it as them contributing to Morton improving their squad.

With the club pleading poverty and the threat of a financial abyss the optics of adding to the wage bill is not good. Yes we desperately need someone to put the ball in the back of the net but what is the point if we run out of money in the New Year. I also agree with others that we are in danger of losing all goodwill from the wider football community - they must think we are taking the piss. This just confirms for me the Board are not fit for purpose and MCT are, once again, unable to hold the Board to account. All that is coming out from either body is the regular update on how much has been collected in our begging bowl with no real update on what happens next. We are a prime example of how not to run a football club.

The move makes sense particularly if they are contributing or covering his wages. It also confirms Murrays earlier comments that he was basically signing anyone who was willing to join.

As previously mentioned - what sensible businessman wants to buy a football club operating at our level? DDFR and his ilk are a 'dying' breed. It is no surprise a bidder for the club would ask for Board representation and a stake in the only tangible asset - Cappielow. More interesting times ahead.

Having a game of football tonight will be a distraction from all the lies, back stabbing, toys out the pram... You would struggle to find a more dysfunctional football Board and fan Board. Netflix must be gutted they missed out on the fly on the wall series.

Delighted to see the adults in the room are keeping it professional and not personal. If only the club's bank balance was as inflated as the egos involved we would be one of the biggest shows in town.

Not sure it is the worst but Garrity is one of a group of youngsters we all hoped would kick on - the rest have moved on while Garrity continues to infuriate.

A couple of weeks ago, I was expecting this season to be a disaster movie with relegation a certainty and my main hope being for us to avoid a record low points total. Having now assembled a squad of players I have largely never heard of previously I have started to think of the promotion play-offs.
