You could add in Main's woeful effort when through late on with only the keeper to beat. He is one of the worst finishers we have had at the club and that is saying something.
Is McPherson not out injured? As for Garrity getting more game time I am clearly watching a different game. In saying that Moffat was almost as bad over the last two games.
Murray clearly does not trust a number of players in the squad to the point he persists in playing players out of position. The last two games have been a shambles and a prime example of getting game management wrong. Our inability to deal with crosses into the box is also farcical. Murray has to accept the blame for our continued scrambling to stay in the Championship. Thank goodness for Airdrie and Ross County.
We deserved nothing from today. Once again we could have lost by a much wider margin. We need a complete clear out of the sand dancers and folk who are simply padding out the squad.
Exactly the same as Dunfermline last week. Second best throughout and gifting chances to Raith then up pops Blues with a screamer of a finish. You have to hope we wake up for the second half or it will be a very anxious 45 minutes.
We deserved nothing from today. We may have gone in one up at half-time but we were never really at the races. The second half was a mess and as others have said if it had been more than three we could not have complained. So many players having an off day and once again a great example of our two wide players thinking they are better than they are. The bigger frustration for me though was the lack of desire of the subs to make a difference - they were all dung. I don't agree with others that we are safe - we still need to grind out some results.
It is clear there are a number of players in the current squad Murray does not rate. You just need to look at those not getting game time even when the 11 on the park are out on their feet. I fully expect Murray to move a lot of players on, if possible, before bringing in players that fit how he wants to play the game.
Gillespie comes across as a good guy to have around but his contribution on the park is relatively limited. My concern with retaining him as a squad player is the limited impact he makes when coming on as a sub. I have no ill feeling to the guy but I hope Murray is looking to upgrade.
As provincial football fans we tend to be optimists even if most seasons are an ordeal. Voting yes is an act of faith. In our current circumstances, it is a struggle to identify an alternative suitor to take us forward. I look at the teams in the Scottish Cup semifinals and think why not us. With Dalrada heading for the exit, I just hope Estrella are the people to help us move on.
Today was disappointing and it is difficult to avoid the criticism it is most likely due to a lack of squad rotation. Murray clearly does not trust some in the squad.
McPherson was fine yesterday. His passing was good and I struggle to recollect any chances for Raith due to his perceived defensive lapses. I also don't get the negativity for Shaw yesterday. I suspect Garrity was hooked because he was getting little joy out of the Raith defender and the quality of his balls into the box, once again, was not great. Shaw was no better or worse. He at least put in some tackles and blocks which is not a side to his game where he excels. People just seem to have fixed views on some players.
Both teams cancelled each other out. Little in the way of goalmouth action. Our final ball and decision making was our Achilles heel but otherwise it was a solid performance. Room for improvement but you can see progress under Murray.
Looks like Imrie jumped from one shit show into another. Raith's major backer walking away, no GM, a lack of Board members, no money for transfers, fans arguing among themselves...
Corr moving on is the best thing for both parties. It never worked for the lad at Morton but I hope it clicks for him at Kelty. As for the incomings we can but hope they push us on but realistically if they help us get in the boring middle of the table they will be viewed as a success.
