  1. My two memories of Mel were his screamer from the wing against Gretna and seeing him getting absolutely stuck into the post-match sandwiches in the Keith social club in the Highland Tour.
  2. That appears to be the case every week and puts me off booking hospitality, which is a shame as it’s seemingly one of the best in the country. It’s one thing to be able to wander up to your seat as late as you want, but it’s another to be stuck in a queue to climb stairs and miss part of the game.
  3. Unless I’ve missed something (and I have only skimmed the statement), it doesn’t say he’s left the club completely. Is he remaining as a director? Can’t recall any abuse at the games, other than a bunch of twelve years olds with a drum singing “sack the board” at the Airdrie game.
  4. That was horrific. The first three goals were defensive gifts - standing off the guy for the first one, sliding in on the winger a week early (and giving him two goes at the cross) for the 2nd and that 3rd one we could all see coming the moment he took two touches. Giving a youth coach a game away to the league leaders as his first in charge - get a grip FFS.
  5. Advertising that we are looking to fill the post would be a start.
  6. We have not interviewed anyone, in spite of the press claiming we’d interviewed Sheils.
  7. Ross County are next to bin their managerial team. https://x.com/RossCounty/status/2000151537784336732?s=20
  8. Couldn't tell your their names, but it was two younger guys who told him and then went back out to get the gates open. Genuinely couldn't tell you the names of anyone behind the scenes at the club.
  9. For the conditions, it was a decent game and on any other day we'd have gotten at least a point. Had to be that chocolate fireguard that scored, though. I was under the stand from around 2pm today. I don't know who else was involved in the decision making, but when the chairman was told about the turnstiles (roughly 2.40pm) his response was "open the gates". There were complaints about the conduct of the Airdrie players under the stand afterwards, so whatever happened at the Cowshed must have continued in the tunnel/changing rooms.
  10. That was hilarious, watching Ayr turn a 2-0 half time lead into a 4-2 defeat.
  11. Andy Ritchie. I was 6 when I started going (the Aberdeen cup replay).
  12. Whatever the format, we're really bad at this cup.
  13. 2-2 now and HT.
  14. Least surprising moment ever.
  15. Looks like some has seen a photo opportunity and stuck a tracksuit top and a "Port Shed Boys" hat on him. Oh well, as you were.
