Fully appreciate its not exactly clear but are we seriously thinking the consortium is only going to contribute 12.5k a month?? For me, reading between the lines, that will be the absolute bare minimum. Once/if they have control, I've no doubt they will invest to make us better both on and off the pitch. What that number is, I doubt they even know, but they do mention future funding commitments so its pretty clear to me that they will invest more. They will want to make us successful, I doubt they are naive enough to think they can do that with 12.5k a month. They will bring experience in the boardroom, have vast networks in both the football and business world and you'd expect a significant increase in our commercial revenues off the back of it. It mentions investment in infrastructure, that clearly isnt going to come from the 12.5k a month, it must come from additional, yet to be finalised, investment from them. I think it absolute should have been worded much clearer, but i think fans are seeing 60% and 12.5k a month and quite rightly thinking no chance when in reality I think( hope) its much more than that. Of course i could be completely wrong in which case it should be binned. Time will tell i guess.

Really don't see the benefit of coming out with this again. The deal, by his own admission, was dead before the meeting, Estrella had no intention of partnering with us, hence their attack on the two boards and he has no affiliation to Estrella apparently, so move on ffs, as the negative press is helping no one. On the consortium proposal, surely the fans should have some sort of update on the latest discussions? Time is clearly critical and we simply can't drag this out for months like the Estrella deal? You'd imagine at this point, we know what their offer is? Someone on the night mentioned it involves regular investment as long as we are fan owned! The small matter of the board receiving an offer to buy the club seems to have been swept under the carpet. Why was this not communicated to the support? Who said thanks but no thanks and why?? Communication needs to be much much better.

I'm hoping he's not the next Sonny Hart. That made me look up Hart to see where he was and he went on loan to Farnborough in Jan and played just the one game, ironically against Fairnie's Eastbourne. Both were on the bench that day, Sonny got on, Fairnie didn't.
