Might be wrong but thinking the booking might be because he gently shoved the lino out the way to take the throw in. On the game, first half was pretty poor from both sides. Better second half from us with Cammy McPherson impressing. Comrie had a decent game too. Adeloye and Shaw need dropped. Dougie calling out players who dont run or work but keeps Shaw on the park every week is baffling. We look relatively solid but lack of creativity is concerning. Chairman will be raging with another draw!!

Dalrada pumping in another 250k on top of the 540k( plus the matched MCT offer) and also promising more funds if we are in and around the playoffs in January is the main takeaway for me. Could be around the 1 million mark this season alone all being well which is fucking nuts for a guy who doesn't own the club. We are incredibly lucky to have his support.

Storer Ballantyne Moore Longridge Zac Blues Wilson Shaw Crawford Moffat Brophy V McKay Adeloye Garrity Kerr Gills Taylor O'Halloran Corr Hart Comrie Murdoch Obviously wouldn't play that shape but we have 7 defenders and 5 wingers so couldn't quite fit them in perfectly across 2 teams but close enough. Decent squad depth all over the park now. Being greedy, Morrison would have been perfect. Hopefully we are looking for a similar type player in September to complete the squad.

Least we know a draw against Motherwell and a win at home to Clyde sees us top the group, regardless of the penalty result. Going by their results so far, no reason we cant achieve that.

Had the same thought driving home last night. Stuparevic and Adeloye as attacking options would work very well with Mckay as the 3rd option. Still out injured though according to Motherwell fans so guessing he won't be back anytime soon.

Very good performances from most tonight and enjoyed the style of football. Usual shouts from some of "get it up the park", hopefully they stop when they see what Dougie is trying to do. Keeper , Wilson, Shaw and Mckay all impressed and Adeloye will score 15 goals easy if he stays fit. Special shout to Gillespie who was solid at RB. I know Dougie rates Robertson highly. Believe he wants to sign him and get him out to league 1 to develop his game. Can see the potential there but probably not ready for Championship football. Team is 2 or 3 additions away from being a very competitive Championship team. Attacking/creative mid who can play out wide( Lyall replacement basically) and another striker for me and ill be delighted. If we can shift Davies, that would be a bonus. Hopefully Gerry only stepping in until a replacement is found, fuck me! Oh, and the midges were horrendous.

Guessing he's back entertaining our offer as he couldn't get something elsewhere. Dougie seems to love him which is odd as Dougie has always said you need to be able to run and work hard in his team, something Shaw simply doesn't do. With the ball he's decent but off the ball, he's a man down. Just need to hope Dougie gets the best out of him like he has done with many others, not convinced, but in Dougie we trust etc. Adeloye next please.

Don't agree with some of the Woods comments. He had some very good games for us last season, Livvy away stands out where he was brilliant and had clean sheets against Pars, Hamilton and Livvy again. Aye he wasn't great in the Falkirk game but who was. Think he was carrying an injury towards the end of the season but his performances in his limited game during the 1st half of the season were good IMO. Wouldn't be surprised if Dougie gives him a chance to be number 1 with Murdoch number 2.

I wouldn't be too concerned that he played in League 2 for Bonnyrigg last season. Lewis Strapp did similar coming through with us going to Elgin and Annan to get experience and it did him no harm. 12 appearances for Motherwell at 19 suggests he has something about him so no harm in having a look. Guessing him and the other trialists will get a run out on Sat.
