  1. I seem to remember a midweek game v St Johnstone when we started with 10 players on the park. Ritchie had been held up in traffic apparently. After 2/3 mins he appeared and slowly ambled to the edge of the WDE penalty box and picked up a pass, looked up and passed the ball into the corner of the net. Of course that could all be a figment of my imagination.
  2. Today was to be his last game before his contract expires. Heading to Bahrain as far as I know
  3. Lief Nielson was another favorite of mine. I always remember when growing up and having a kick about with my pals, when we had a game of "crossie in" etc we'd all pick a player to be as 10 year olds did at the time. All my pals were rushing to pick Pele or Eusebio. I was always Joe Mason or when it was my turn to be in goal I was Lief. Happy times.
  4. Storer saves a penalty. C'mon the Ton
  5. Whether it's Ian Murray or not, the fan base should be getting right behind the new manager and giving him every opportunity to get us further up the league without constant sniping and claiming hes not good enough/not your personal choice etc etc. We are all Morton supporters and should be doing just that SUPPORTING. If things go badly tit's up then that's a different matter.
  6. I'd go for option 1. If he handed me a statement saying he was going, or had gone, and tried putting pressure on me. I know what I'd be telling him.
  7. Same guff rolled out on BBC Scotland news programme there.
  8. I've supported the club for 50+ years and can never recall his involvement.
  9. A three wheeled transit van with no engine would do that
  10. Maybe he has just remembered his speech on the Supporters club around 2 years ago now, when he said "if the Morton fans don't want me here I'll go".
  11. Don't let the door etc etc
  12. I have been made aware that former Morton player, Jimmy Miller passed away this morning after a short illness. Jimmy, nicknamed Scooter by his team mates played for us during the early 80's after a £10,000 transfer from Motherwell. Condolences to his family, always hard to hear at anytime, but more so at this time of year.
