Think he saw his name in lights and went for the shot. He should have been rolling it across the goal to Shaw (could have been someone else) who would have had an empty goal to aim at. Everything worked out OK in the end but if we'd lost a goal after that incident, we'd all be on moaning about it. But I agree he looked good and seems to have great pace.

Who knows, just that thought that was a reasonable explanation.

I'm assuming that as it's the last home game before Remembrance Sunday, we're wearing the away key due to the Erskine reference

I've said it for a long time that players are. Going down far too easily then grabbing the ball to break up play with an undeserved free kick. This is something else referee’s should be stamping down on,just unfortunate that the one that does goes against US!
