chris_mceleny
me. only 1100 odd scotland tickets sold, the ni are not uying out of protest of roi stealing their players, expect 15000 in a very big stadium

Think you're being optimistic with 15,000 though. It's £17 for us, I can't imagine they'll charge any less for the locals to turn up as neutrals so nearer 5000 would be my estimate. Not many of us would pay £17 to watch Wales v Northern Ireland at Hampden for £17.

Boozehound
Not me, I've chucked Scotland away games for the foreseeable future, got better things to squander literally thousands of pounds a year on. An internet fud is still a fud.

lazy_ar*e_student
I am going and have entered the ballot (I have 0 points), I think the 100% pickup has put people off trying to harvest points for the Spain game (if you read the TAMB this has been mentioned frequently). I say hopefully, but I'd be raging come Tuesday night if I didnt get a ticket. WHEREVER IT TAKES US- WHATEVER IT TAKES

You're certain to get a ticket- the only reason it wasn't guaranteed for folk on no points was because that would mean guaranteeing up to 35,000 folk a ticket. Obviously unlikely that everyone would apply, but the SFA have to take precautions. This, along with the other two games in Dublin, is a great chance for members on zero points to start accumulating points and getting the chance to get tickets for bigger games, contrary to the common myth that the SSC makes it difficult for "new" away fans to start travelling. I've been fortunate to go to 2 away Scotland games and not have a point but managed to get tickets through alternative means, glad I might be getting a point and as you said an opportunity for 0 pointers to get a point or 3. True, but whilst the Czech Republic friendly and Sweden were more expensive, they were still good opportunities for zero pointers to get started- whilst I didn't have zero points, both games were great for me getting up the ladder to be guaranteed tickets for the bigger games. Rhubarb Mess
Looking forward to it anyway. Accomodation, food and beer prices seem to have dropped a fair bit due to the economic issues. HMS Willow
Intentions are to go to the Sunday Night game in May, however when we initially planned it it was a Friday Night and more attractive. Some sing of Celtic, Rangers And some of Motherwell Of Hibs and Partick Thistle And other teams as well But of all the famous football teams There’s one that they’ve forgotten With a Ra Ra Ra and a Cha Cha Cha IT’S THE FAMOUS GREENOCK MORTON
