NewTon
Fifty six special courts, set up to deal with World Cup-related offences, are operational. The courts were established to avoid burdening already bulging court rolls. Any offence involving either tourists or South Africans will be dealt with at these centres. The Justice Ministry’s Tlali Tlali said, “Under the budget of R45 million that has been set aside for operations of the court for the duration of the tournament, the court will be operational two weeks prior to the tournament starting and will wrap up two weeks after its finish.†Shirley not a good sign. They can't have 56 special courts without a decent workload for 8 weeks. http://www.eyewitnessnews.co.za/articleprog.aspx?id=40317
