  1. Anyone bothering to go to the kit release thing today?
  2. Very sad to read this news, as other have said, he seems to have been a constant on any Morton forums I've been a part of dating back over 20 years. Always enjoyed reading his views and his passion for the club was evident, especially his very fond mentions of the 60s and 70s teams. Rest easy Alibi.
  3. It was only 2 bloody posts up as well
  4. Ex goalie coach David Scott has joined Queen's Park
  5. Passed Cappielow on the train on Friday, looks like no work has been done so far.
  6. They've a brass neck asking for people to sign up to season tickets at the minute.
  7. Aidan Connolly, who was rumoured to have agreed to join us a few weeks back, confirmed as being released by Raith Rovers. Can't imagine we'll be confirming any new signings any time soon, sadly.
  8. I've seen highlights of a few goals Stirling conceded this season and he didn't seem to cover himself in glory. Age might well have caught up with him, but I know he's did his coaching badges so wouldn't be at all surprised to see him go down the goalie coaching route, if he hasn't done so already.
  9. I see the Tele have published the story now, with a big cracked drone image of Cappielow to be as extra sensationalist as possible
  10. Harkins was due to leave anyway I'm sure. As always, taking anything from a first time poster with a huge pinch of salt, but the breakdown is all very specific.
  11. Frustrating that with Adeloye out, we don't bring in either Keay or Davies. Moffat through the middle?
  12. It's definitely open again, drove under it last week.
  13. Forgive me if I missed it, but did the club ever announce the winner of the new away kit vote for next season? Edit - Forgot we voted on a new home kit as well!
  14. Is anyone bothered? Been a funny season, filled with very little in the way of quality, and yet once again we're not at any risk of either promotion or relegation going into the final game. Is that a successful season? I'll let others be the judge. For tonight's game, looks like we'll be without Ballantyne again, going by Dougie's pre match interview last night. I wonder if we could consider Corr coming in at right back or if we'll just continue with Gillespie in there? Wasn't at the Raith game so can't comment on how he played, but his lack of pace does make me nervous about him in that role. Would like to see the likes of Wilson and Keay coming in from the start too. Basically anyone that Dougie doesn't see staying next season should be replaced if possible.
  15. I really rate Mullen, but he's struggled with injuries his entire career so far. In the 2 years he's been at the club it feels like he's rarely been "fully" fit. I really hope he can get to the bottom of his injury issues as he's got the potential to be a very good goalkeeper and play at a higher level.
  16. On the Telegraph website this morning. Says both Mullen and Woods have fairly serious injuries so they're done for the season, working to get a loan in but might need to go with Murdoch.
  17. Mullen and Woods both out for the rest of the season. Looks like we're trying to sort out an emergency goalie, otherwise it's 17 year old Murdoch for the last 2 games
  18. Have just watched the highlights back, and I think we were hard done by at the end, as Davies looks like he's timed his run perfectly and is played onside by their number 11.
  19. With the under 18s playing tonight and going for the league title, I would imagine Keay is unlikely to be starting a first team game tomorrow. If they can seal the title, then we might be more likely to see him next week from the start.
  20. Well 3 of the apprentices started in that Scotland schoolboys game at Cappielow, so start from there surely? Not sure what positions Niall Graham or Fraser Rodger play, but at least lets see them on the bench to get them accustomed to the first team environment. Been a bit of a bugbear of mine that. Even if you're not intending on playing them, get them used to what match-day prep looks like and have them on the bench, in particular when we've had 3 or 4 players on the bench at times this season.
  21. Blues it was. Seen fouls given for a lot less, he gets barged in the back a bit.
  22. Wasn't expecting to see Adeloye's name on there, very pleasant surprise. Plenty of attacking options to bring off the bench.
  23. He was very raw and played mainly out of position at fullback, but no, he wasn't great.
