That was a tough watch, not the most endearing character is he? Felt a bit wrong at times and can see him in talking at Dougie about tactics, systems etc cause he’s a “fitba man” himself. Will see what materialises down the line in terms of his targets and aspirations for the club.

Felt like we shaped up all wrong today and thought by looking at the line up we were actually going to have a go at Aberdeen. Just didn’t happen. The amount of long balls we are playing at times is absolutely chronic. O’Halloran looks completely finished unfortunately and my worries re: Delaney are becoming more pressing as the weeks go by. Also to a lesser extent Id put Longridge in there too. We absolutely need to sign a left back or see how Longridge looks out there. Needing to shrug this off and get 3 points next week!

Would be great to get Brophy in. He hasn’t been scoring goals for about 5 seasons now but played alongside Imrie for Accies so I’m convinced he will bring out the best in him.

Disappointed as Motherwell looked very average. Decent teams will ride them this season with a high press as that defence and keeper have mistakes ripping out then.
