  1. Pretty sure Moffat has more than Garrity and O’Halloran. 7 in total for Moffat and 5 for Garrity and O’Halloran.
  2. He was team mates with Stevie Smith who is the 18s/19s coach in their academy and has obviously played there so lots of connections. Think it might depend on what happens with Alloa as they’ve had a successful affiliation with them so if they came up there’s a strong possibility they will be their “championship team” as allowed a team in each division (I think). Quite a few decent players in their academy that I’d be happy to have in supplementing our squad.
  3. They always say things even out over the course of the season and it felt that way last night with the Strapp sending off. Cancelling out Ballantyne’s joke red card up there that he bought for him.
  4. Not a chance Murray will change things, we’ve had some right stubborn bastards manager wise and he’s right up there. Arguments for having nothing to change it with on the bench, but there has been enough there to do something in recent weeks. Thank fuck we are safe and can bin this season. Had so much promise 5/6 weeks ago but happily see a bit of a clear out now and hopefully move forward.
  5. Go up there today and be hard to beat, simple. Fucking wide open nonsense at times, the reluctance to change things will be Murray’s undoing going forward from here. Some absolutely honking performances right through the team, Shaw undoubtably being one of them, but other stinking performances noted throughout. He takes a hammering on here but other performers offering much less at times. Moore at ?2nd goal was awful. Garrity completely anonymous throughout and his delivery from corners in particular was horrible. Blues gets pass marks at times by others as runs around and deceives many. Goals against Raith etc keeps him from the firing line at times but he does nowhere near enough. Anonymous today but he wasn’t the only one tbf so would be unfair to completely put blame on him. No pass marks for anyone today, embarrassing all in all when RC have been fucking awful all season.
  6. One of the worst I’ve seen away. Toothless and fucking shite, managers stubbornness is unreal. Bench is a bit pish but a change needed early doors in this game.
  7. How we didn’t change it sooner when they went down to 10 men was baffling. Fair play taking off White at half time, absolutely honking performance. Owen’s should be starting for us, he’s always looked very assured. Thought the game was crying out for a Delaney for Longridge substitution early in the second half. Some good saves from Ferrie today but the Shaw and Main chances should’ve been buried, so poor from them. The amount of chances we have missed this season is worrying.
  8. Hopefully he can take them down too.
  9. Struggling to see why Murray refuses to use Lyall and Taylor more. Crawford also completely out of the picture too. Thought we might have seen Longridge on for Shaw with him then going to LB and Delaney pushed on one.
  10. Really good first half but invited pressure onto ourselves in the second half. Brilliant win for us to get the badly needed 3 points. Main had a good game but could easily have had a hat trick today. Some nice range of passing from Shaw who sees some passes others cant, but unfortunately lets himself down with being so soft and work shy. He had a nice little back heel to Shug and superb cross from the big man right onto Main’s heed for the second goal. MOTM awarded to Blues was mental, easily his worst game I can remember in a long time. Hope the club are looking to tie Owen’s down for a few years, I think he’s been tremendous since he came in.
  11. Gillespie has been an excellent signing for us. His contribution this season has probably been his best in terms of all round play, but other seasons his penalties have served us really well. Hopefully has at least another season or two with us.
  12. Getting a result down there with no recognised striker in the squad is brilliant
  13. The radio silence on Storer is just bizarre. One of our most important first team players and just no mention of anything. Apparently he hasn’t been back up the road and receiving treatment down at Wolves, which is fair enough with the resources they have. Really hoping he can come back in before the end of the season
  14. Would have taken this being off on the basis of having no actual strikers.
  15. Worried at the top end of the pitch going into this run in. Long balls and crosses into the box to absolutely nobody who can do anything with it anyway. How we haven’t went and got someone in on an emergency loan up front was surprising, knowing Main is out for ?3 games and Brophy is injured. The timing of substitutions is definitely an issue, but there’s an argument who’s there to come on and improve things. For me, Taylor and Crawford definitely should be involved. Centre halves done well, Wilson, and Gillespie in spells.
