So everyone ITK says he's away, then?

Falkirk have hit form at the right time and have also scored in all of their last six games. They're unbeaten since the transfer window opened. In fact in 2019 they are the form team of the division, with Thistle (and County) the same. There's no guarantee that this will continue, of course, but on current trajectory they'd overtake us in late March, and I think that's what will happen.

Another day, another 'someone told me' rumour.

What will it be tomorrow?

Jim Spence said there was an issue between JJ and MT, which has since been resolved.

Someone in the media speculated to me that Tidser had had words with the board about JJ. Didn't share it here because they said that was the vibe they got from JJ rather than any solid confirmation.

Well, no player is bigger than the club, and the BoD has backed JJ in the window. So it's now up to JJ to repay the faith shown in him by the club. And if he and Tidser have worked out their differences, that's fair.

But if this actually went down the way described, I have to say I'd break my own rule and back Tidser over the manager, as much as I generally frown upon players going over their boss' head.

Or Johansson is only equipped through experience to coach boys and can’t manage adults with expectations of standards. Jim McInally, basically.

I have no idea what happened with the Tidser situation but from the way Johansson is constantly raging about having to play guys over the age of 23, it's not impossible that the older players just regard him as a dud and maybe don't hide it particularly well.
