Fantastic news, just another couple to go Would be interested to know in that joke of a statement how it’s impacting his business interests when there was no conflict of interest confirmed when clarification was asked for? Maybe looking into that too much. The brass neck of that parting shot is wild though. But at least he’s actually away and we all know the truth, if other fans think we are a shower of pricks then I’ll take it. We need to get the next one and manager appointment right Love this from Jon Connolly above!

Whether he’s knocked it back or whatever, at least it wont be him coming in and hopefully he takes the Ross County job. I think it’s been alluded to that it’ll be someone with limited experience with them leaning on Davies for advice etc. I would take Arfield if it means he’s a player/manager. He will be strolling this league like he did last season so that would be an obvious positive to that appointment. Chat from Davies in hospitality a few weeks ago was that big changes are afoot in January so will need to see what that means. Obviously skeptical as I know we can’t have nice things unfortunately.

Scudded 5-0 and roll out Miller to do the post match interview? If Davies thinks he’s too good for a job at our level then he’s beyond deluded. We have played some nice bits in games under him, 10 minute spells of decent attacking football doesn’t cut it. We obviously need to appoint someone properly as soon as possible but the powers above really need to do one. This needs to change!

Why can’t we just be fucking normal! The ambiguity continues, brilliant.

Wonder if Dougie’s applied for the Ross County / Kilmarnock jobs? I could’ve seen him going to either and do a decent job. Very interested to hear about big news in January.

There was an issue with them receiving emails (we’ve heard this one before) earlier in the season but we eventually got it ironed out for player sponsorship. It absolutely took longer than usual this season but it’s always been pretty easy in recent years, with the club invoice usually fired over rapid.

Played some really nice stuff but getting suckered by that prick McGinty was a tough one. Thought Storer should’ve saved it but would need to see it back. McGinty at the end celebrating like he’d won the Scottish Cup was telling of his career as a professional footballer. Also the weird and randomness of Dylan MacDonald (I know, I had to google who the fuck he is too) getting so involved with us a few times now seems bizarre, trying to stick it up the Cowshed at the end and got booked alongside McGinty. Great to have another turnstile fiasco in the worst weather we’ve had in ages. Didn’t see any officials from the club around to solve that issue, but instead sent a volunteer, SLO up and down the queue to apologise and face a pissed off crowd. Poor all round.

Who was your first Morton hero when you were a kid?

Derek McInnes just at the tail end of his Morton career stood out for me, loved him. Alongside Rajamaki and Lindberg I felt a bit spoiled for choice! -
Defensively a total horror show on those highlights. Shocked at how bad Murdoch has looked in the two games this season, especially considering how well he done last year. Corr also looks way off it which has been frustrating as it seemed like there was big potential there when we signed him on the 2 year deal. Offensively we should’ve stuck a few of those chances away, unsurprisingly Gaston still doing the business against us too. That finish from Robertson was a beauty though

Clearly expected to waltz in there and beat them with so many changes is wild with the weather being a total leveller too. Really poor and I’ve just made peace with myself that we will never get a decent run in this cup.
-
Quite a bold move changing the keeper and the two centre halves, especially in these condition's. Hopefully make a few changes in the 2nd half, get some of our regular starters on and stretch Stirling.
-
The word “race” makes it look like there’s some urgency about it, more like a very slow saunter. Not that bothered as keeps the continuity of Davies there a bit longer. Not really seen any outstanding candidates yet and the fact McPake and the likes are still out of a job 12 months after his Dunfermline exit says it all for me. This is a collective board decision and not the chairman? So hopefully it’s done properly, it has to be done properly.

Ton V Queens Park. Friday Night under the lights

Finish Beauty of an assist from Shaw again. -
That would be a disaster. Hopefully stays til the end of the season.
-
I suppose “if” you’ve been told you’ve got 3 games to save your job maybe moving on constitutes making that type of decision for your family, especially when that club is bending over backwards for you and “maybe” paying more.

Would we have him back?
-
I can’t go back and listen to that car crash interview Laird done in Coast weeks ago, but didn’t he say if he’s not wanted he would go or if he wasn’t performing he’d go? How do we actually go about binning him?
-
There is quite alot of very specific information given in that voice note and also feel like it rings true with other things I’ve heard, so I would say it’s authentic. Hopefully we get a clearer picture of what’s going on behind the scenes now and straight from the horses mouth too. If that’s the way things have been done behind the scenes then they can all fuck off.

Sack the fucking board. This needs addressed right away.

It’s disappointing going to a team like Raith to be honest and feels a bit mental having turned down Partick which I (sickeningly) could understand him leaving us for. He’s done fantastic for us and will always be held in high regard by the fans for what he’s done during his spells here as a player and a manager. We just absolutely have to get this next appointment right. Our season could go either way at this stage so hopefully a galvanising appointment can spur us up the table. We cannot rush into something and bring in someone fucking stupid.

9th/10th December.

Love to see it

Option B is as close to a Parma strip that we might ever get so I’ll go for that. C is just a rehashed training top No?
-
He’s a bit of a prick isn’t he? Was he the wee guy that was tweeting support for Tommy Robinson and his apology wasn’t great?
-
That was a tough watch, not the most endearing character is he? Felt a bit wrong at times and can see him in talking at Dougie about tactics, systems etc cause he’s a “fitba man” himself. Will see what materialises down the line in terms of his targets and aspirations for the club.
