  1. Schwake was part of a promoted Edinburgh team and was in TOTY that season. Mullen had about 6 first team games for a relegated Clyde side. Efe comes with bags of experience at the very top level, over 50 caps for Nigeria and an AFCON Champion. Broadfoot, regardless of personal choices, was playing for Broomhill last season. I don't know enough about Boyd to compare him with Miller but I agree with others in their skepticism over these signings. This is Imrie though we have to remember, not some absolute diddy like Gus McPherson et al.
  2. He might actually have a slightly better goal scoring record than Roy and hasn't played in Ireland. Sorry, he's definitely an upgrade. But he's likely more being signed as a replacement for Miller. So, 4 signings in - we haven't made one apparent upgrade to our team yet. Maybe Mullen will be excellent, maybe Boyd will score and assist a combined 25 goals. But so far, our signings have been utterly underwhelming.
  3. Having a look at his tiktok, he seems a pretty nice guy and works hard. If we can get him signed up cheap - he was playing in Wales so I don't imagine he'd be on much - I don't think being 4th choice centre back would be an awful bit of business. I reckon Imrie/Millen (seems like he meets Andy in a video) probably liked his hunger to show what he's got. Not saying we should sign him but another potential comedy character to add to the list. Edit: hat trick for him against Annan tonight.
  4. On the clubs Instagram page, think it's their most recent clip - they've posted extra ones on there - there's a fairly small, almost Jon Scullion looking guy, wasn't sure if it was a youth player or not.
  5. Still needing quite a few signings. I was expecting Pignatiello to take Grimmy's place after his inevitable departure but Carlo leaving was a bit of a shock. 2 more defenders, 2 midfielders and a winger/wide forward I'm assuming.
  6. Some folk really do take everything posted on here rather seriously. I said that, as a season ticket holder for the upcoming season.
  7. If he's coming in as the new starter, no wonder they started selling season tickets early.
  8. He was hardly great with us but echo what someone said in that his latter performances reeked a bit of "playing for a contract". I reckon he'd be more of a 6/10 for a full season. Still reasonable but in no way irreplaceable. However, due to his new employers, I hope it goes fucking dreadful for him.
  9. I could see contract renewals being signed and announced this coming week, they'll already be set in place.
  10. I think it also doesn't help that it was our first new player coming through the door this summer
  11. Let's hope he doesn't have to play very often.
  12. He's lucky he's played the amount of games he has considering he's quite suspect to throwing elbows at opposition defenders. After the 2-1 loss at Firhill in January he shat himself when Grimmy got a hold of him. Let's hope Dougie brings in a proper shithouse player next season who will give him a few whacks over the course of the season.
  13. Get it fucking round ye Brian Graham, horrible cretin.
  14. If that last minute Inverness equaliser (which was onside) stood on the final day, I see no reason why we wouldn't be the team leading 2-0 heading into the final leg of the play offs. The fact that QP and Ayr imploded is just embarassing. It's somewhat upsetting to think about how much Cappielow would've been rocking. Let's hope Imrie uses that and fires us further next season.
  15. I see Tom Lang was released from Raith, wouldn't mind seeing him in as back up to Baird and Darragh. Bit of a goal-scoring centre half.
  16. The only positives I'm taking from this is that it's definitely a 'Morton' kit and the continued successful partnership with Dalrada. I for one welcome our Dalrada overlords.
  17. It's going to be another great season ahead, strap in.
  18. 22 goals and a few assists in just about 36 games, can't really say he wouldn't add something to the side with stats like that. My Queens supporting pal said he hasn't seen him play recently but that he seemed inconsistent. If anything he sounds right up the gaffer's street.
  19. I've always quite liked the look of Andy Winter at Accies, young strikers would be the perfect 3rd choice I think. Another than I think could be a decent option that Imrie could straighten out is Dario Zanatta, can play along the front 3 and only a couple of seasons ago was making scoring look easy in this division.
  20. An upgrade on ACON winner Efe Ambrose? Kilday was torn apart at Cappielow recently and in the play offs. He may be younger/fitter than Ambrose but he's absolutely not an upgrade, by any stretch of the imagination. I'd much rather kept Ambrose on even as 4th choice player/coach and look to bring in a versatile younger player as 3rd choice.
  21. As expected, surprised to see Garrity still around but I suppose he's a cheap option and still under contract. Was fully expecting to see Pignatiello as our starting RB next season so but of a shock to see him leave. Get the Nigerian Prince in as backroom staff!
  22. I actually don't think O'Hara would be a terrible signing, definitely better than Ally Roy.
