  1. No chance I'll be paying for the first couple of matches until they work all the ghosts out the system. There's nothing to suggest it's all going to run smoothly
  2. I managed to catch a bit of the match, and he was very, very impressive from what I seen. Not phased by the occasion at all. Looked comfortable in position, and took up lots of interesting positions, quite infield near the Parma box. Almost like an inverted full back at times. I'd certainly have him in the Scotland squad before Greg Taylor. Think he could easily play right-back too, seems comfortable with both feet.
  3. Jamie McDonagh and Lamie playing against each other in the Europa League.
  4. According to a quick scan of his LinkedIn, he worked for 2 years as a producer/presenter for Celtic TV, as well as doing Ads for ESPN/STV and making corporate training videos for Barr's. He's been the director of a media production company for 10 years. What sort of experience are you looking for?
  5. Pep's a complete failure at European level and, needless to say, a bald fraud. I suspect this summer will see him signing another £60M dud fullback to sit on the bench, and convert Gundogan to centre-back for next seasons failed assault on the CL.
  6. Well that was quite incredible. I don't think I've ever seen a group of players care so little about getting battered like that in a major game.
  7. Having the occasional fag with a pint is one of life's greatest pleasures.
  8. Surely he's not going to be their number 1 this season?
  9. From one set of horrible bigots to another. SAD!
  10. ??? Doyle was absolutely abysmal going forward. By far the poorest part of his game
  11. Jonatan "JJ" Johansson appointed manager of "FC TPS" in the Finnish top flight.
  12. Surprised to read this morning that St Gallen are top of the Swiss league with 6 games to go. Can't say that I follow the league, but that seems like it would be a massive shock if they can hold on. They finished 45 points behind Young Boys last season and haven't finished in the top 4 since 2013. Would also be the first non YB/Basel winner since 2008-09.
  13. Nothing wrong with that. As much as I hope they win the case, they've got a brass neck making that request. Should be given short shrift from all clubs.
  14. It would take some getting adjusted to. Like an Inter kit without Pirelli on the front of it. Just doesn't look right.
  15. Very good move for Sir Richard. Could he, dare I say it, sneak into a couple of Scotland squads somewhere down the line?
  16. Quitongo joins Duffy, McKee, McCluskey, Barry Smith, Conor Brennan and Ruaridh Langan at Dumbarton
  17. Kante himself wouldn't have made a difference against the Hamilton Globetrotters that fateful day. If anything, they'd have scored more. Show some #resepct
  18. Well he wasn't a "screener" so that's a completely moot point. That's not his game at all. He was a Kante-esque harrier and ball winner, not an anchorman.
  19. That last 20 minutes from Bayern was liquid football. Beautiful stuff
  20. We took an absolute banter squad to that tournament as well. David McNamee, Graeme Murty, Graeme Smith, Gavin Rae, Scott Severin, Ian Murray, Iain Turner and Lee Miller among the squad. Halycon days.
  21. Lewis Morgan. Before that McGinn. Fuck Shankland. Will never forgive him for being a fat disaster for us. I agree with his call-up though. Looks to me like the perfect option against the San Marino plumbers and electricians.
