In Topic: Morton Moment You Would Relive if You Could

A few that we haven't mentioned yet;

Inverness 0-2 Morton. We'd been on a trip to Skye the night before, so I was hanging out of my hoop, but our performance was excellent that day. The subsequent collapse afterwards takes the shine off it slightly.

Kilmarnock 0-2 Morton. The day that cunt Quitongo burst onto the scene. Another excellent away performance and two very well taken goals.

I quite enjoyed the frequent League Cup scuddings of Stranraer too.

Don’t remember Alistair Deans - was he a reserve that made one or two appearances?

Ramsbottom without a doubt.

He was in the U19s and got called up to the squad when both first team goalkeepers were injured (Cuthbert and Stewart IIRC). He played down at Rugby Park in a League Cup match, and maybe one or two matches other than that. I'm fairly sure it was at the same time as we re-registered Davie Wylie to sit on the bench.

I was the year below Alistair in school. He was a decent guy.

We could fill a full 'Worst Team of the Decade' full of full backs and wingers. I must admit, this will be far more entertaining than the Team of the Decade.

I'm currently in Heathrow airport and most of the shops and restaurants are closed and the staff are constantly reminding people about social distancing. Maybe the message is finally getting through to people.

You see, that's going to be part of the problem. Like our resident disenchanted, angry young man, you're equating taking sensible precautions to protect yourself and your family as phobic behavior that should be publicly ridiculed. That's the very attitude, no doubt shared by many, that's going to cost a lot more lives in the coming weeks than need be. Way too many people are still not taking this seriously enough, and they will only realise that when it's already far too late.

The fact is, you want to limit the number of times you have to visit the supermarket to the absolute minimum. That means that when you do go, you're going to want to get as much as you can, which for most people with a family to feed will require the need to push a trolley.

That was an astonishing meltdown. Stellar effort.
