  1. Are you like Cliff Richard, and look younger than your years?
  2. You should have tried the Savoy, they let anyone in. That is a different name altogether from Ronnie Rosenthal.
  3. Serious question, when Ronnie Rensenbrinken or whatever his name was knocked you back for ADO Den Haag, did you try any other clubs?
  4. He didn't though, did he? 'I think' implies that he's not quite sure, he's just speculating. You've read too much into it. I honestly have no issue if you want to increase your subscription, its your decision. I don't quite understand why you are getting all uptight about it. Once again you've read too much into it. 'Morton Supporter' did make me smile though.
  5. Aberdeen FC had an English player in the late 1980's called Paul Mason who came to them via Dutch Football signing from FC Groningen having left Merseyside to go and work as a Builder's Labourer before being scouted whilst playing for a local amateur side. The guy had a decent career with 20 years spent at three clubs - Groningen, Aberdeen & Ipswich.
  6. I had a cousin who once played for Red Star Belgrade. He said that some things are really best left unspoken, but I prefer it all to be out in the open.
  7. Why didnt you email them directly then?
  8. I think that contacting MCT would/should be your first port of call, but why do that when you can first announce your intentions on the messageboard?
  9. I'll be the Robbie Resenbrink of this thread: Hej Doosje, you are fucking it up. Next.
  10. I listened to it earlier on YouTube. A few very good songs on it. Thanks for the recommendation.
  11. Aye, someone like BSC Edusport Braves or some shite like that, and we're back to square one.
  12. That's one of the things I hate about Scottish football nowadays, is shite clubs suddenly being considered to be part of the 'senior' game without having the wherewithal to sustain their place. For all their criticism they attracted, what do Edinburgh City bring to the table that Cowdenbeath, Brechin or Berwick don't? At least those clubs would be able to field a team and fulfil their fixtures, they have their own grounds and have modest support from their respective communities. ETA: Whilst we're on the subject of 'clubs' that don't contribute anything to the Scottish game, why are Queens Park playing at Hampden? Get them to fuck.
  13. Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan brands David Hopkin a waste of money for him:
  14. Here's hoping. Where it is head and shoulders above the railways in the UK is the quality of their rolling stock. ETA: did you get tickets okay?
  15. I've been let down by DB a few times over the years. Mostly on Train>Airport connections.
  16. Irony is that Deutsche Bahn's Drivers have been on strike the past couple of days over Currywurst vouchers. I hope they get their shit together when we're over there.
  17. Well, when you put it like that I could think of worse. Things that are pissing me off: Pundits who have England already in the final, and pundits who are talking about Wales as if they are actually going to qualify too.
  18. We go again tomorrow. I wonder what the next debacle will be. Incidentally, what is everyone's thoughts on the draw? The choice of venues? Munich is the ideal place for the opening tie, albeit they know how to milk the fans with the prices, however Cologne and Stuttgart are too far apart creating a lot of needless journeys. I cant help but think that this could have been organised better.
  19. Ticket Sales are delayed: Due to a technical error, UEFA EURO 2024 codes have been sent out to Scotland Supporters Club members who are not eligible to buy tickets at this stage. As a result of this error, the sale scheduled for 12 noon will be delayed until further notice while we liaise with UEFA to resolve the issue. The Scottish FA would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to supporters at this time. We will communicate further information on the sales schedule as soon it is available.
  20. Those of us of a certain age group grit our teeth at seeing/reading the 'Dancing in the Streets of Raith' pun. Its there with 'Thistle do nicely' and 'Firhill for Thrills' of annoyingly crap football headlines and pundit-speak related to Scottish football. Anyway, I'd much sooner see Inverness do well than Raith, but then again i'm more of a traditionalist.
  21. That will be their equivalent of 'ivry buddy chips in munny' I suppose. That ingenuity of thought will be from the singular brain cell from their current finance director I suppose. Which makes me wonder how cretins like him manage to snake their way into boardrooms.
  22. What's with all the 'Da' patter? Can it only be twenty-somethings that can communicate on 'social' media nowadays?
  23. and Kudus set one up for Spurs today. I always rated him.
