  1. What bothers me most about this lack of trust in the defence is that 2 of those centre backs that he has decided are a worse option than playing a centre mid there have been signed by him. This isn’t just working around a shambolic defence he has inherited, he has upgraded what we had previously only to sit them on the bench while playing someone out of position and watching them struggle. Yes, Shug had a couple of decent games in defence but it should never be considered a long term option because it weakens us in both areas.
  2. Deserved fuck all and that’s what we got. Murray has to take a good look at what he is doing though. Playing Shug at the back when there are injuries and suspensions is one thing but doing it when you have THREE centre backs sitting on the bench is something that needs to be addressed. Learned nothing from last week. We are so easy to open up it’s laughable.
  3. Have to agree. Something may click for him there that didn’t here, it happens. But if he was to have stayed here he would have had to accept his contribution would need a considerable increase to be anywhere near a regular starter. I don’t doubt his effort but trying your best isn’t always good enough in football.
  4. Charlie Telfer has declined a contract from Airdrie and will move on.
  5. Pepper is definitely a player I liked. Felt he done a decent job at right back considering it wasn’t his natural position and was gutted about his injury. Good to see him do well as it looked like his career was over at one point.
  6. He also scored a penalty earlier.
  7. Declan McManus sent off...
  8. Peter Grant scored for Queens Park.
  9. I was confused with the Robbie Muirhead one at the time based on the fact he had been booked for the tackle. My belief was that due to the booking there could be no action taken afterwards as the referee had acted. Had he missed it then I understand it can be looked at but as stated above I thought if the ref sees it then it’s done. The Robbie Muirhead one suggests that isn’t really the case then?
  10. How is nobody seeing those elbows?
  11. Did he play a competitive match for us? I recall something along the lines of him being involved in a game and got injured about 5 minutes in but was it a real game?
  12. Pepper was a player I really quite liked and was gutted with how things went for him. Glad to hear he’s doing well elsewhere. Definitely had more about him than Telfer in my opinion.
  13. Have to agree with this. A few moments in which he looked not bad but overall he did little to suggest to me he was of Championship level. Certainly doesn’t belong in the starting lineup of any team looking towards a promotion push to the top league.
  14. Buchanan won’t be missed. When Lee Kilday is looking decent in comparison during a game then you know that changes NEED made!
  15. Wasn’t bothered to see Oliver leave. Agree that he started well with us but that potential never developed into much more. Potential is useless if you do nothing with it.
