I didn’t hear Oakley getting anything dished out towards him so thought it was really poor of him to celebrate in such a way and is now deserving of the pelters he will receive on every visit. In fact, the only ex player I really recall getting it tight was Delaney from one fan in particular that just kept calling him a fanny and telling him he needed a haircut.

Have to agree. Something may click for him there that didn’t here, it happens. But if he was to have stayed here he would have had to accept his contribution would need a considerable increase to be anywhere near a regular starter. I don’t doubt his effort but trying your best isn’t always good enough in football.

Charlie Telfer has declined a contract from Airdrie and will move on.

Pepper is definitely a player I liked. Felt he done a decent job at right back considering it wasn’t his natural position and was gutted about his injury. Good to see him do well as it looked like his career was over at one point.

I was confused with the Robbie Muirhead one at the time based on the fact he had been booked for the tackle. My belief was that due to the booking there could be no action taken afterwards as the referee had acted. Had he missed it then I understand it can be looked at but as stated above I thought if the ref sees it then it’s done. The Robbie Muirhead one suggests that isn’t really the case then?

How is nobody seeing those elbows?

Did he play a competitive match for us? I recall something along the lines of him being involved in a game and got injured about 5 minutes in but was it a real game?

Pepper was a player I really quite liked and was gutted with how things went for him. Glad to hear he’s doing well elsewhere. Definitely had more about him than Telfer in my opinion.

Have to agree with this. A few moments in which he looked not bad but overall he did little to suggest to me he was of Championship level. Certainly doesn’t belong in the starting lineup of any team looking towards a promotion push to the top league.

Buchanan won’t be missed. When Lee Kilday is looking decent in comparison during a game then you know that changes NEED made!

Wasn’t bothered to see Oliver leave. Agree that he started well with us but that potential never developed into much more. Potential is useless if you do nothing with it.

I’ve often wondered if we are the most ridiculously run club in the country but Falkirk seem to be cruising to victory for that award right now. It’s absolutely beautiful to watch and enjoy.
