Not sure why but to my knowledge no updates from agm have been answered from the consortium. A few things weren’t covered on the night or the response was will take away and ask the question.
Will the consortium cover the costs of due diligence was asked. 2 late in the day now if no response has been provided.
The wording of the contract was stated to be however MCT please. If at any time MCT no longer want the consortium involvement. They will hand back all shares and walk away with nothing expected back.
What was said along with Cappielow being worthless was that if you did decide to build on the land the cost of demolishing and clearing the site then the cost of building houses would be more than what the houses would be worth due to location etc. Plenty of land in that area is lying empty that doesn’t require the initial investment.
Seem to remember MCT when initially set up was something like £120 over 12 months purely to raise money to strengthen first team. You were then a member and was then entirely up to individual if they wanted to continue paying into the fund. I hope I haven’t just made that up? So wonder how many of the say 1000 members are actually still contributing monthly. I can’t remember if the payment arrangement ever changed when MCT changed to go down the road of ownership.
That’s why we have the current roof. Replaced under Scott by insurance after storm damage. Tbh does not look much damage just replace the damaged cladding. Not a big job looking at that picture.
