  1. Dodgy looking penalty to level it there
  2. If he's desperate enough to sign a contract could we not offer him something for next season with a retainer to tide him over until then? It may be more expensive than waiting for him to be free but he might accept reduced terms if we pay him during his downtime. Reading between the lines he's desperate to sign a deal and doubt anyone else will gamble on him.
  3. Kilbirnie ladeside I think, saw him playing against Pollok last season and he's struggling in the juniors. You only get two touches in the juniors it's like pinball at 100 miles an hour.
  4. Along with Buchanan, Doyle, McManus, MacLean, Johnstone and Mckinlay for Linlithgow
  5. Tam O'ware puts in a brutal performance on Saturday heavily culpable for all three goals.
  6. He'll have plenty of time to practice his table tennis.
  7. Greg Kiltie still can't get off the bench for Kilmarnock....just saying.
  8. Where is Rory McKeown these days is he still at the club or has he been moved on?
  9. I hope they sign him, he's made of chocolate, McKinnon is a cheque book manager who regularly fails to do his due diligence on players medicals. The fact that he's even thinking about signing Denny Johnstone again shows his disregard for the Falkirk paying public, he's prepared to gamble their money on a player who's future is dubious at best.
  10. He's still only 25, I was surprised by that.
  11. It's some game at Ross county 3-2 now MacKay looks like he broke his arm scoring the 3rd it's been a while since I've seen an entertaining championship game
  12. Lewis Hawke scores for Queens park today
  13. Competent football teams will use every opportunity open to them to improve their squad including scouts, ex players and any other means.
  14. Your right sentiment towards the club is probably not the overriding factor but it may tip the balance if we're competing for the same loan players. Anyway here's hoping JJ can tap into loans from wherever, be it McInnes, Hopkin, contacts in Finland, Ibrox or anywhere else.
  15. The point I was replying too was that no ex employee is going to lend us a decent prospect and that's clearly bollocks as McInnes has done that on 3 occasions, John McMaster also did it at Swansea. Obviously they want it to benefit the player and their current employer and it doesn't always work out but cultivating these arrangements with ex-players can help when budgets are tight and we're competing against clubs with more money than us. It was one of Duffys strengths being seen as a safe pair of hands in the game to develop and nurture young talent, hopefully JJ and Houston can sell themselves and the club the same way because the loan market is crucial to clubs like us now.
  16. Who said anything about messi but a competent player for this level maybe available ala Declan McManus was when old boy McInnes lent us him in league 1. So it clearly does and can happen.
  17. Glad to hear that Hoppy may be becoming successful down there, hopefully he's got a couple of young prospects looking for competitive 1st team football that he can lend us till the end of the season.
