I listened to a podcast with Muirhead last year (Kilmarnock fan one I think) and he suffers from a severe stammer so doesn't do any interviews.
It’s a decent wee listen actually.

We have full-grown adults suddenly clutching their pearls about the future of the community owned model because, err, a player's celebrated scoring a goal. So that doesn't really seem to be the case.
Oh, Stephen.

Big Broadfoot didn't seem to impressed with it either!
Aye, fair play to Broaders who’s had his own (often unjust IMO) stick this season.
I’ve been raging at Muirhead in the past for similar antics but I kinda turned a blind eye to that yesterday. Part of me does wonder though if Dale or one of the board want to have a word through - it’s not a good look for a community club desperately trying to encourage fans along. I can’t imagine it’s very fitting with the strategy or whatever it was called that Dale presented to the squad.
Hopefully Muirhead’s had his wee moment and there’s no more again next time around.

I think that spitting is pretty grim, and overall disgusting behaviour. Who is doing that?
Wee guys at the back of the shed.

Somebody's reading the commentary.
Merch tweet out of nowhere.
There was a question last night about merch so maybe a follow up to that.
(The question was about the arrangement with Smiths, which’ll be reviewed. Dale said something along the lines of expecting a club our size to be generating more from merch than we are. Seemed to be a real frustration point for him so be interesting to see how that develops).

1 hour ago, Stevie Aitken's Love Child said:Anyone else going to the Q&A tomorrow night at the Morton Club? I have to admit, I find it odd that questions need to be submitted in advance of the evening, and that they wont be opening up for Q&A on the night. The cynic in me sees that as a way to filter questions that they don't want to answer, but alas I've submitted a questions via the link they provided on the email anyway.
It could be. Might be.
Might also be a way to:
- answer common themes of questions
- keep a nice running order of those themes (rather than bouncing around subjects)
- keep the session timely while getting through all the questions
- allow the panel to construct their answers properly (hopefully not in a politician-type way, but answering questions properly without the pressure of thinking off the top of their head in front of a live crowd)
- avoid the inevitable, awkward scenario of people not being particularly articulate with their questions
There’s pros to opening it up for questions on the night as well but given the above I’m not being totally cynical about their decision.

Won’t sleep tonight thinking about French playing centre mid.
I may be misinterpreting but I thought he was apologising to the fans at the end. Seemed to make a point of emerging from the bench to clap the fans and then raising his hands (not in a waving to his maw way).- 1

Did anyone else think their left back was booked twice?

@Deego Sorry mate - I only just saw this. Aye - fixed up. The direct debits are administered by MCT so any amendments have to be done from their end. It was taken care of by a lassie named Trudy. Drop an email to communications@mortonclubtogether.co.uk and they’ll take care of it for you.
No bother, thanks.

Further to the great shout by @vikingTON in the Dundee United thread about this probably being a great time for MCT to try increasing the ownership base - an additional way to increase club revenue would be for members to try and dig a little deeper if it's affordable to them. So can anyone tell me how to increase my monthly contribution? Should I simply just amend the direct debit amount with my bank?
Thanks in advance.
Did you get sorted? How do you increase your contribution?

What a difference the additional turnstiles made last night BTW. Not getting the credit they deserve in amongst all this chat about the game.

Alright folks does anyone know if it's possible for me to buy a ticket on the fanbase app for someone else and send them the QR code? Saves them downloading it and setting up an account
Aye I did that.

Just reading that was former Morton striker Iain Diack’s son that scored the equaliser today.

Is a 3500 crowd at an 11500 capacity stadium a big game?

He’s been posting videos of himself doing 1-1 training with Ultimate Soccer (no idea) on Instagram. In fact, the last video posted last week is captioned, “Week 6 of Lewis Strapp’s recovery”.
Guess he’s still not ready to be picked up by another club yet.

Laird did say something along the lines of the exception to that would be if the manager puts forward a strong case for signing an older player.
