  1. Its been talked about to death. Duffy simply wont play him at the back. Saturday was the perfect time to give him a game at centre half because of the injury situation and he failed to do so. We need to accept he is a midfielder in Duffys eyes.
  2. They would have been insane to turn down moves to England. Jims wife just had a baby so he needs to think of the best deal for him and his family. They will be on much better money than they could get here. Dece has time on his side and if he bangs in the goals, who knows what could happen with his career. Hope they both do well.
  3. Really liked the big man, remember his overhead kick against Stirling? Time was right when he did move on, but IMO served the club well.
  4. you dont need to wait until tomorrow Alan.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xv1ly6tNgEE
  5. Not having a dig at Kenny as I can imagine how difficult it is, but it sounds very similar to the desperation Moore went through when trying to sign a striker. Not good listening. So many players have knocked us back and instead went to Alloa, Dumbarton, Raith.( and that's only 3 that we are publicly aware of)
  6. Nacho Novo to apparently train with the skunks.
  7. Should have had a hat trick that day.
  8. Jake Nicholson just appeared on Soccer AM. Very very random.
  9. I knew you'd be along to keep me right. On Smith, has that been confirmed anywhere? Seems some journalist tweeted about it, but not heard anything official? One for the dev squad anyway I would imagine.
  10. Looking at the squad, its fully up to date on the official website.( Habai still on there, but don't believe he has actually left yet) http://www.gmfc.net/Squad/ Excluding Habai, of the 19, if he was to somehow get rid of Wallace and Cham, the man would be a fecking miracle worker! Hopefully room for 1 or 2 more quality players.
  11. I know exactly what he means , he's not comparing ability ffs!!
  12. Dont quite get you. We either go with the dross that has won 2 league games all season or get rid of few of them and replace them with new apparently better players. Shiels has clearly felt the players aren;t good enough and he has no other option but to bring in new players. The players that have been playing together for the last 6 months and know each others game clearly isn't working.
  13. Cant remember many saying he would "plummet" down the leagues", but I remember most couldn't care less that he left(despite being offered a new contract) and overall, he was useless for us. One Dundee game at cappielow, he missed 3 sitters, Dougie could have scored. The boy did very well at Raith and got a move to the SPL ,Fair play to him.
  14. Talking about Naismith, Neil McCann just said hes got a great set of legs and is great at bursting forward down the line. He has looked quite impressive today to be fair to him. Edit- He just got man of the match!
  15. Yeah he was a bit of clown by all accounts. Seemed to be a few of them about at that time right enough- Scott Mclaughlin, Dean Keenan etc. Hats off to the boy for sorting himself out and making it to the SPL.
