I still think the Easedales will take over at some point. To be honest at this stage I don't think it would be a bad thing. I do feel for MCT. They have the right intentions but at the moment are not up to the task. I think given time everything will settle down but I don't like the idea of my club being their guinea pig while the new owners carry on firefighting through the early days. I genuinely do not see a light at the end of the tunnel at the moment and I am concerned about the club on and off the park. We need to start getting the basics right and can only do that by establishing and developing an infrastructure and processes that promotes organisation, clarity and a clear vision. Accountability is key to. At the moment the club is verging on a faceless entity which is not how it should be.

The steward's are useless and so inconsistent. They pick and choose when to carry out their duties and when asked about this their usual replies are 'am only daein ma job' or 'its health and safety.' Heard it numerous times when asked by myself and others.

Received an email yesterday saying two guys have been out forward to join the board. Scott Gillan and Stewart Duncan. Not sure if they post on here or not. Hopefully it's a good appointment for the club.

Would really like some clarification as to why the easedales, Rae and 2 councillors are all sitting in the directors box? I also hope that they all paid in or have season tickets.

This. So called 'smaller' clubs have been out performing us for years. The latest example being Arbroath. Our predicament which has went on for as long as I can remember is down to poor leadership and decision making. For so long there has been no long term vision or plan at all and I'm not even entirely sure there's one now but if there is there's a lot of work to be done to even begin.

Emailed MCT this morning with a few concerns and awaiting a reply. Surely they have to take notice of the grumbles on here and at games? I'm sure I'm not the first to email either.

Not an ex player but being from Inverclyde I never understood why we haven't tried to sign Nicky low. His career took a dip before he signed for Arbroath but I've always thought he was a good player at this level.

Bullet dodged as I was genuinely worries he'd end up back here. Another player who thought he was better than us and it never worked out. Admittedly a decent player but at times his attitude was rotten.

Big Lithgow was excellent yesterday. Didn't put a foot wrong.

A good post. I'm all for allowing MCT a lot of grace in this period of change but there's certain things that really need to be addressed quickly and the lines of communication are a pretty easy one imo. They have spoken about open communication and transparency and although there has been some improvement I'd say there's not been enough. It wouldn't take much to have a weekly update from MCT members and the manager/ players. Not looking for war and peace but regular updates on YouTube channel or even a blog would be a good start.

I always liked Reid. Solid defender for us. If memory serves me right he was a bit of a dick though.
