Think I seen something on Twitter about him saying "I was bored of Scottish football" when he joined up at Hartlepool. Seems to do a bit of charity work but also comes across like a bit of an arse. Even without Grimshaw I wouldn't have him back.
-
Hopefully Aberdeen seen our result at the weekend and don't think Imrie is good enough for their new manager shortlist. Although pumpings at Parkhead is the Aberdeen way.
-
Reece Lyon picked up another booking as Annan are defeated. Bottom of the league. I somehow think his Morton career is over.
-
End of the day, it is only a rumour. It's the first I've heard of it and I presume many others. If it was considered legitimate I'm sure most of the fan base would know by now.
-
Never understood the hate for Fred. Is there something that went on behind the scenes before he left? Guy has went on to have probably the best career of a Morton player in the last two decades? Also netted us a good fee when be moved to Malmo. If I remember correctly, didn't look out of place either when he played in Europe for Malmo/Ostersunds.

We are still living in the 20th century. Surely to fuck programmes can be provided in a digital format and those who want printed versions can even pay that bit more than the standard price? You can't even pay by card for food and drink..
-
Surely saving some money on not paying Sutton a wage too, maybe we might see two new recruits?

The idiots highlighting it on social media are just making a mountain out of a molehill, all for a few likes and a boost of serotonin in their sad lives. The same folk saying they'll cancel their memberships yesterday over Salmond's 'alleged' behaviour (he's a sleazy prick) but are willing to go support the team with Alan Lithgow as captain. I've defended the club and Alan quite a bit over that decision. However, you can't just have one and not the other just because you don't agree politically. This was always going to fracture (fragile) folk in the fan base. We should not be deteriorating a fading fan base with politics.
-
I don't mind renting out some tables and chairs trying to gain some extra income as long as it isn't for the KKK or similar. I believe we still have SNP ad boards around the pitch, these should be binned immediately. We should not be promoting political parties of any form.

Albeit Raith's tactics didn't work I would've liked to have seen a slightly reduced admission, £10 for all of something, but I get the reason why they wouldn't. Overall an exciting week, think I'll get the top finally too. Let's roar our lads onto safety on Saturday, they fucking deserve it.
-
The right idea. Possibly something that could be done (with refinements) is the club charging a reduced ticket and matching tickets sold say by the Friday and distribute them to whoever they wish. Get a big crowd in, hopefully some folk who haven't been for a while. People could enter like it was a raffle maybe? I would be hoping that they PR the shit out of Saturday coming. Chance to put one over the little people, hopefully sun is shining and of course, Dougie back in the dug out. It's got the making of a top afternoon.

They're all far superior in every way.
-
I'd be all in favour of keeping the home kit - not sure if they'll just remove the Scottish Cup part of it for next year? Those 4 choices for the away kit are absolutely hummin.
-
Good to see you, once again, lambasting Lithgow in order to protect your own insecurities. At least, that's how your constant, 24/7 ranting about him comes across. Maybe you should speak to a professional about your own, deeply uncomfortable urges?
-
I've heard a few reports of the club booking out Parklea for training on a Sunday after games, and even did so after playing Inverness away the other week. Not notifying the manager until last minute either.

What do people want this The Rangers-Esque statement to say? "sorry we've hired someone convicted of sexual misbehaviour but he's moved on"? I genuinely don't believe any sort of statement would be acceptable for those awaiting one. It would just be there for folk to nitpick at and be even more furious about, 5 months later. I'm no supporter of MCT, I haven't pledged yet and won't until I see encouraging signs of improvement. There are more problematic matters currently for MCT than the echo chamber that surrounds this once proud club.

Since Lithgow came through the door we've had members here turning into the local "beast hunters". "But especially under community ownership" seems to be thrown around a lot too. The club have hired some horrible bastards down the years and some clubs still do, even in the league above us! I understand that Lithgow's crimes may be "worse" than severe assault or drug dealing however. My worry is that this club and it's supporters are becoming very closed off. It has been for the past decade of me attending anyway. If you don't agree with the majority there you're not very welcome at Cappielow without folk jumping down your throat. This Lithgow situation being one of those things.

Wonder if he could end up at Celtic in some back up capacity? Seemed to have some links with the new gaffer.

Remember the 'hype' they tried to create with the new website?

Ordered an Uber today and my driver was none other than Andy McLaren. Good to see him looking happy and healthy.

I think it's also suggesting we may not see new signings before the window closes. I know this has always been the norm but it's pretty irritating given the current state of the team. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised that the answer to this would be to save as much money as possible. If we sign these remaining players in June we are owing say 3/4 players an extra two months wages. Let's just say that's £16k over those two months. The club may feel that this is a good area to save money.

You don't need to be a genius to see otherwise. 1 league game and 1 cup game, or at least he started in those. In a league with as many games as a Championship club will face in a season, multiple managers I believe too, I'd say that's not a fair look in. I forgot you were the resident Bachirou lambaster. I'm sure you'll have your evidence ready.
-
Quite a few reports of it on Twitter. Was always a pie in the sky rumour, suppose his in laws live here (no wonder he didn't come here!). Never got a fair look in at Forest and had quite a few injury problems. Crazy to think people thought he was dreadful then he goes on and bosses Europa League matches. As always with Fred, all the best.
-
Ah well, fuck him too.
-
You'd imagine he'd score a good few goals down there.
