Its was an AMA set up for a paticular night at a paticular time though. They've continued to respond but as Dean said, they are just volunteers. Their website has a decent amount of info as does this thread. Plus you can email them. I know they are trying to get your money so perhaps you want them to come and seek out your questions but I think they've been very reasonable in their attempts to field questions

Taylor played for St Andrews for years where his dad was a coach then Rangers then Killie. Rangers and Killie had tonnes of Greenockians at that time, even more than St Mirren. Interestingly, around the time Morgan left Rangers was when John Laird was trying to set up a Youth System at the Ton but failed totally. There were a lot of players at Morton who left at this point who are now scattered around the lower leagues/Juniors

My 'vastly improve' comment is based on the difference between whatever the budget is at the time of investment vs that +200k. Pbviously if Crawford cut the budget by 150k and we put in 200k that wouldn't do much. I think they should receive more for that money as well, however, I think that is something which can be negotiated when/if this goes ahead.

400k over two years could vastly improve the product on the park. If the scheme was saying that the Rae's received 400k then yes, that would be ludicrous for 15%. However, that isn't what is proposed and 400k over two years going STRAIGHT into the team is definitely a positive for the fans.

So a rabble of fans with no organisation who all, independently, own a miniscule proportion of the club giving money to the Raes (NOT MORTON) is better than a fans block with a democratic structure who own a small (but not miniscule) percentage of the club, have representation on the Board and give ALL money straight to the team? On what planet is your suggestion better?

From what I have heard from a mate in Falkirk, a few of the better boys clubs had coaches from Falkirk as part of the community outreach work. When they shut down the youth system, those clubs lost the coaches. Could be a lot of nonsense but the guy is a football coach in Falkirk.
