What because he scored a goal, he doesn't work in this system without Oakley as evidenced by 1 win in 10 games since he got injured and the 1 game we won Oakley was back. Scoring a goal from a break in the box doesn't make you motm infact picking out any morton player as our MOTM tonight is the real terrible take.

Far to many players are getting free passes by imrie and seemingly immune to criticism while strolling about the park looking entirely uninterested. Where has you see players like mcgratten, garrity, bearne etc all getting slated each week.

Bearne MOTM today for me, so positive on the ball and it's exactly what we've been missing recently. Simply has to keep his place for next weekend.

We've went from having the opportunity to over take partick for 3rd place last week to being 9 points behind them and looking over our shoulders at inverness in 9th. It looks like this shape and tactic has been sussed out by most of the division even with Oakley returning this afternoon, Dougie needs to look at other options now. I would be dropping Muirhead next weekend and go with 2 natural wingers on either side of Oakley, robbie has ran himself into the ground over the last couple of weeks with not much reward. I think we are now back to the bottom of the form table over the last 6 games which is really concerning, we need a victory fast.

So we are placing our entire season on 1 guy? What happens if he get injured again what's the plan b? Because the last 5 games including today is relegation form with Dougie placing such little faith in his attacking options that he would prefer to play arguablly our worst defender in terms of ball distribution and general control in French in CM so that Crawford can play higher up the park.

Sticking with that 11 after watching that half of football was very questionable And we've gotten what we deserved. We need to be careful we don't freefall down the league we could be 5 points ahead of 9th at the end of the day and no idea where the next 3 points are coming from.

I know we have some games in hand but that league table is looking increasingly worrying for us and ICT with Ayr winning today. It may still be classed as early in the season but being 6 points adrift of automatic safety already is really concerning. Next week is absolutely massive for us.

We really should have the funds to get 2 more players in at least. We've had good ST sales and MCT membership is up so that should be translating to budget and if its lower than last season questions need asked.

Didn't to put this is in the squad thread but I seen on socials last night & today that a player called Brandon Daiu has shown up at cappielow this weekend asking for Dougie for a trial.

yeah i would rather we acted in this window too, i probably didnt explain myself clearly. Its just i feel as though people are already questioning the agreement and expecting it to fail before the club have really had a chance to explore its options on what players are available, i hope we do out due diligence on the next player(s) we sign so that we have not ended up wasting the extra money.

The first payment was only made late last week, lets just see what happens for the remainder of this transfer window and perhaps more importantly the January transfer window (Once pledges have been continually made) before talk of wheels falling off or people cancelling direct debits. I think the support will need to exercise a little of bit of patience which admittedly is already running thin after Saturday,

With a "decent" goalkeeper we would still have lost 3 probably all 4 goals on Saturday. An Injury free CB (Sorry Peter Grant) a LB and a first choice RB is higher up the priority list in my opinion.
