My mistake, assumed it was 90.

It ended 3-2, Nesbitt subbed off with 9 minutes to go. Captain Oliver Burke scored twice, one penalty.

Just noticed that Reece Hands spent the season with Gainsborough Trinity (sounds like a West Indian cricketer) although he hasn't even been on the bench since December. Anyway, they avoided relegation by a single point, so well done to him after six glorious appearances in the National League North.

JB, the last person on here to criticize Jenks was 'garymcc', and we all know what happened to him.*
*i actually don't know what happened to him but I assume he was hounded off for having shit opinions about midfielders.
-
Apparently he was instrumental in persuading former Bloomfield Road ace Marlon Harewood to sign for Greenock Morton.
-
Average imo
This season is the first one I can think of when he'd have been definitely kept out of the first eleven. If that's average I'll take a full squad of average players.

Wish we'd had Jenkins longer than we did, for me he was one of the symbols of our no longer accepting chancers running the show at Cappielow. Hard worker and very good midfielder.

I'll see your Fraser Fyvie and raise you Jamie McCunnie.

I wouldn't class the International u-21's as "Youth Football", as most players at that level go on to play at a reasonable level and will already be playing the game at a decent level to merit their call-up.
Granted there will be a few wasters in amongst them who'll amount to nothing despite being given all the right breaks, but the same could be said for any bunch of young lads eg. students, apprentices, army cadets etc.
It's not always just failing to take advantage of their opportunities. Plenty are just not that good, despite their hard work, which is a byproduct of how the international system works.

I'm not raging we didn't offer him something but I wouldn't have been raging if we had. Seemed like the sort of young player with potential that Duffy specialises in, and that is reflected in his NI call-up, but I presume Duffy has someone better in mind.
Youth international football means nothing. Lawrence Shankland has scored twice for the Scottish U-21s and will never amount to anything. I'm pretty sure McManus has scored for them too.

You should have gone to charm school, redneck.
Looking forward to your in-depth account of your visit to the tea towel wearers.
Red dot, dickhead.
-
You should have gone to Specsavers.
You should have provided your own red dot, but fortunately I brought extra, dickhead.

It occurs to me that Stef looks a great deal like actor Thomas Middleditch.

Totally forgot Flanagan played for us.
-
The truth is probably somewhere in the middle but it's a short career and I don't really blame any player who takes the money. Nem de geld.
-
I'm sure Barry chose Raith coz of the two year deal, which is fair enough.
McManus' decision I can also understand but he's still a complete fanny.
-
Genuinely amazed that Jonathan Page made team of the year. He was absolutely dire for us. Can't remember who it was we were playing but I vividly remember him ducking away from a cross and we then conceded from it.
-
Fred may (allegedly) be a snake but that's quite the career he's made for himself. A pretty stunning rise for that club, too. They made their second division debut last season and their top flight debut the year after, and now they're Cup winners as well.

Grimsby haven't taken to him whatsoever.
Then explain the life-sized statue of him outside Blundell Park.
-
Gunning in line for the player-manager position according to BBC Sport, The Guardian, and the Daily Mail.
-
Beautiful, brave boys.

Poor show, allegedly, if true*
*allegedly

If McLaren's book is to be believed King Snake McInally and Morton done him over for a year's wages.
How did they do that? (Allegedly)

There's your green dot for the decade, but you could have said "Burke and Harewood strike fear into the opposition" and it would work grammatically both ways.
