  1. Your standards are slipping To be fair, there is a typo in his name, I just remembered reading it previously.
  2. He's still playing?!? He must be quite an age now, he was playing for us in 2000 wasn't he? I got a pair of gloves off him before a game at Caley Thistle
  3. Just read on P&B that Martin Hardie is apparently training with Airdrie, Thought he had signed for that Celtic Nation mob along with Colin McMenamin?
  4. Not sure if it's been mentioned as yet, but I noticed on P&B that Kyle Wilkie is on trial with Livingston.
  5. --> QUOTE(big B @ Jun 16 2013, 02:36 PM) 927483[/snapback] Carlo Monti to go on trial at Dundee. Has his agent rejected a new deal at Pollok because he's definitely signing for Dundee by any chance?
  6. After knocking in 17 goals to help Grödig to the Erste Liga title last season, David Witteveen has surprisingly rejected a new deal at the club. He is apparently training with Wiener Neustadt.
  7. As is McMenamin, going by what I was reading over on P&B. They seem to really be going for it next season if that's the case.
  8. They were reported to be losing over £3k per week this season, so no surprise really that they've released pretty much all of their high earners. I'd have him back in a shot.
  9. Being released by a side which just avoided relegation back to the conference is quite a fall from grace for the bold Jake, after being linked with moves to the Championship a couple of years back. Return to Cappielow on the cards? I know of one poster who would be very happy at that prospect.
  10. A wee update on the above. David Witteveen's SV Grödig now sit 9 points clear at the top of the Ersta Liga and look set to be promoted to the top division for the first time in their history. Witteveen has notched 12 goals in the process to be their top scorer.
  11. First Vienna 1-2 SV Grödig Skip to 1:51 on the video above to see former loanee David Witteveen open the scoring for SV Grödig in a 2-1 win at First Vienna from last Friday night. That win put them 2nd top of the Austrian Erste Liga, the equivalent of the Scottish first division, but much like our league, you get nothing for second place. They travel to the league leaders Austria Lustenau tomorrow night, trailing them by 7 points with a game in hand.
  12. Stevie Crawford, assisted by Alex Smith will apparently be the caretaker team. Nothing has been confirmed as yet, but just about every media source is saying that he'll be unveiled as Coventry's new boss today.
  13. Neil MacFarlane is expected to be named Steven Pressley's assistant at Coventry City today.
  14. Colin Stewart appears to be playing for Stranraer tonight against Arbroath.
  15. Not an ex-player, but ex Morton manager Jim McInally is, according to Jim Spence on twitter, on a shortlist of 8 to become the next Dundee United manager Edit: Full Shortlist, with added lols - M Paatelainen, M O'Neill, S Pressley , D Adams, J McInally , J McNamara, P Hartley and D McInnes.
  16. Stevie Aitken has taken charge of Stranraer on a caretaker basis following Keith Knox's sacking yesterday. So proud
  17. Ryan Harding has joined Peterhead on loan for a month from Alloa to cover suspensions, joining Jim McInally and Scott McLaughlin in the ex-Morton ranks at Balmoor.
  18. I think that's a fair description of him. At times he looked like he had never seen a football in his life, but then he would score goals like the one he scored against Livingston at home, dribbling around 3 players and curling one into the bottom corner. An absolute enigma, but good for 10 goals a season probably. I'd happily have him in the squad right now.
  19. O'Connor would have played in the same team as Moore for both us and ourselves that season. Now THAT'S funny
  20. That was the night of the infamous Colin Reilly tackle on Sean O'Connor, wasn't it? The game descended into a farce, Keenan's sending off being a shocking decision if I recall correctly. Keenen had come on to replace someone who picked up a knock (Stuart MacDonald maybe?) and did a decent job in midfield.
  21. Always gives me a chuckle to see one of the 'big boys' lose to a wee team, regardless. Lighten up man
  22. Graham has been on fire since he came back from that operation at the tail end of last season. Some hilarious scorelines in the cup tonight, with Killie getting pumped at home off Stenhousemuir, and Queen of the South 2-0 up on Hibs, added to the Raith scoreline.
