Was on P&B aye, in the Ayr v Airdrie thread on the League 1 forum. I was pretty shocked myself, seemed to always carry himself with a quiet dignity, so someone must have really pushed his buttons for him to react like that.

Just reading about his antics after the game against Livingston on Tuesday night. Was apparently trying to get into the crowd for a square go with a fan after the game, and had to be restrained by stewards. Surprised he didn't do something like that whilst at Cappielow, given the levels of abuse he suffered at times.

He was moaning at the weekend about not having a club, so I suppose not. Them's the breaks really, easy with hindsight for the lad to say that he should have taken the deal with us when he was offered it. I think most realistically expected him to get a club at least at Championship level.

A certain Mr A. Williams has signed for Luncarty Juniors. Seems like he's got out rather early from his stint at Her Majesty's Service.

Admittedly, Kean signed just as I was moving abroad, but I did see him in a couple of pre-season games, and the Kean/Kelbie partnership was pretty horrific.

Stewart Kean has found his level at Hurlford United, after being released by Stenhousemuir.

Just read on P&B that Martin Hardie is apparently training with Airdrie, Thought he had signed for that Celtic Nation mob along with Colin McMenamin?

Not sure if it's been mentioned as yet, but I noticed on P&B that Kyle Wilkie is on trial with Livingston.

After knocking in 17 goals to help Grödig to the Erste Liga title last season, David Witteveen has surprisingly rejected a new deal at the club. He is apparently training with Wiener Neustadt.

As is McMenamin, going by what I was reading over on P&B. They seem to really be going for it next season if that's the case.

They were reported to be losing over £3k per week this season, so no surprise really that they've released pretty much all of their high earners. I'd have him back in a shot.

Being released by a side which just avoided relegation back to the conference is quite a fall from grace for the bold Jake, after being linked with moves to the Championship a couple of years back. Return to Cappielow on the cards? I know of one poster who would be very happy at that prospect.

A wee update on the above. David Witteveen's SV Grödig now sit 9 points clear at the top of the Ersta Liga and look set to be promoted to the top division for the first time in their history. Witteveen has notched 12 goals in the process to be their top scorer.
