Gillespie MOTM for me today

Broadfoot left one on Rudden there. Had to be held back afterwards. Seems raging.

Felt we were a little fortunate to be awarded that penalty. Would have happily celebrated it hitting the net, though.

Been a tough watch, this

Almost got to admire the shithousery/gamesmanship. Almost. Then again, you could also label it reckless endangerment of the players by deliberately placing an obstacle too close to the line.
Will be a laugh if they’re made to shift them back before kick off.
Presume there’s a limit on how close you can place the boards to the pitch. -
I was at a St Andrew’s hospice charity run at Strathclyde Park where Tam Cowan was MC and Frank McAvenie the starter.
Cowan remarked that they had an air horn rather than a starter’s pistol as Frank was an expert in handling hooters and because they feared the school pupils from Airdrie would return fire.

Hard lines, a great effort.

Someone put a pic on WhatsApp about half an hour ago, they were still east of Langbank and tail lights ahead as far as you could see
Aye, the single file traffic is moving very slowly. Right hand lane shut off for miles, but no sign of works actually having been underway.

Why are the trains off?
There was a check for possible damage to the line, but all clear and the route is back open

Yep, I find their “Well Bois” a bit of a riddy at times but that pyro display was absolutely class.
Would rather they didn’t have the strobing effect fireworks, though. Didn’t like them at all. Not as annoying as the person with the laser pointer in the shed, but off putting all the same.

Not at the game tonight, foot is like a balloon.
Mate saying Jai is clearly not ready to be playing tonight. I understand his important attributes he brings to the side but should we really be risking an already injured player instead of playing the fit ones on the bench?
He was missing due to a virus that’s been going around the squad. Maybe still feeling the effects.
ETA: your point still stands, seems risky to play someone who’s not 100%, although perhaps he’s feeling better than Garrity, McGrattan or Bearne if they’ve all had the same bug.

Ayr 4-3 up now
What a terrible wee shame

Blues has been steadily improving throughout his time at Morton but has now become very consistent with it. He’s working hard, making good decisions and taking responsibility. It’s really great hearing him being appreciated with his name being sung more regularly from the ‘shed as well as the positivity around him on here.

Does Fanbase not allow for seat selection in the main stand for season ticket holders to have their seat reserved? At the Motherwell game there was a large number displaced and with the bigger crowd expected this will become more of an issue. Its a bit of a kick in the baws to sit in the same seat all season but some big game hunter steals your seat because he's in 5 minutes before you.
I didn’t get seat selection for my season ticket on Fanbase in the first place. Spoke to some others in the stand who said they had to call up and have their allocated seat added after the purchase. Was it the same deal for you?
Had chosen seats the season before last but only ever got to sit in them a couple of times. Most games there would be people sat in the seats and I wasn’t that arsed to be bothered explaining that some seats are allocated and others are a free for all.
Might be an idea to clear away some of the years old stickers from the seats and then clearly mark the reserved ones again.
For cup games I guess it would be nice to extend the option to allocated ST holders to reserve their usual seat.

Oh well, Hearts it is. Should bring a good travelling support with them.
We’ll need a very big performance, but we know we have some real grit and fight in the squad now. Give it everything, get right behind them again and dare to dream (feel free to add your own footballing cliches and platitudes as you see fit!)

Airdrie or Hearts at home.

If it's the 3-1 win you're referring to, it was 2007

We were in the quarter finals in 2016 and 2018, both against Celtic at Parkhead. It’s not exactly uncharted territory in recent years.

Guess French will be at centre back alongside Broadfoot and Blues shifted to right back?
