I would have him back but Moore gave him the chance and he did not take it. We have now spent the budget and to get him it would presumably mean having no money left for a striker and Moore is correct to use the money he has to create the best squad he can. If we could get a striker and Fred I would happily go for that but if its one or the other, we need a striker more than we need Fred.

I've seen him in three games now - Albion Rovers, Kilmarnock, St Mirren plus hear reports from others who were at the game against the Roumanian team that we lost 5-2?, who say he played a blinder and kept the score respectable. I am convinced we have a good keeper on our hands.

We certainly have two better keepers now. As for comparing him and Stewart, I think the difference was that he was a fairly confident guy whereas Stewart's confidence was totally shot! If anything Stewart was technically better.
