Stewart Greacen signed by Stenhousemuir

I always liked Stewart Greacen. He never gave less than 100% and for a while when Dominic Shimmin looked as if he was interested they formed a very solid centre back pairing. He's only 31 so will still do a decent job for either of the teams mentioned. I wish him well.

Colin Stewart has left Airdrie.

We tried to but Raith offered him a two year contract while with the exception of Michael Tidser's three, we were only offering one year. "Yes", as I said at the time I wish we had kept him, but I am glad he's doing well and hope that goes on except of course, against us. Most of the First Division clubs are doing well so far tonight.

I remember an away midweek cup game at Ross County when he was, according to the BBC reports, the man of the match. I was really surprised that we let him go particularly as Jim McInally obviously knew him well before he brought him in from Celtic, I had the feeling he left for non-football reasons but maybe wrong about that.

Although Jim faded towards the end of his time with us he gave really good service to the club and always gave 100%. He does lack a bit of composure at times but he is a decent player as some of his reviews for Hamilton in the SPL showed. I hope he finds a new club soon and at a decent level.

I think he was a great player and an even greater prospect since he is still young, but I agree with you that Alan Moore was right not to wait. Getting a settled in depth team/squad as soon as possible shows that Mr Moore is growing into the job of being a full-time manager and learning from his mistakes.

I was really disappointed by how things ended for Fitzharris, unfit and looking like he wasn't really interested because in some of his appearances he showed that he had a lot of ability. If he gets himself sorted out he could still play at a decent level.
