Only two years late I've discovered ex-Delgado Alun Woodward's album as Lord Cut-Glass.
It's a work of complete genius from start to finish. I've no idea how I managed to miss it when it first came out.
Sufjan Stevens - Get Behind Me Santa!
Elastica - Gloria
The Wedding Present - Step into Christmas
John Cale - A Child's Christmas in Wales
Low - Just Like Christmas
...Festive
Any good? How does it compare with the full band stuff?
Currently listening to a Kitchens of Distinction compilation, a massively underrated band (once you get past the late 80's/early 90's production)
Seasons in the Sun was a Jacques Brel translation, wasn't it? Not a scooby about Yes Sir, I can Boogie though!
Current listening to Sufjan Stevens' Christmas album....lovely
It's actually the first thing that I've liked by them since Song for Polarbears which is a brilliant album. Shame they decided to trade being good for success...
Currently listening a cover of The Buzzc***s song Why Can't I Touch It by Lambchop. Awesome
