"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their consciences."

Noel Gallagher - Chasing Yesterday

Although far removed from his oasis days it really is a superb album, easily better than his first solo album. There are some real belters on there with dying of the light being a personal favourite. Lock all the doors and heat of the moment are also quality tracks. Has doubled my excitement for seeing him on Saturday, though he better not fanny about with Don't Look Back in Anger like he did last night.
