Something needs to change, playing each other four times, potentially seven or eight times when you count cups and potential replays, is boring and had been for a long time.

I don't have an answer but would prefer only playing each other twice in the league.

I know there's faults with that set up to and the current top tier teams will want the income from the bigot brothers but something needs done.

There’s not enough good teams to sustain significantly bigger leagues. The season is boring because the football isn’t very good.

This. The leagues are always competitive as well, right up until the finish. Teams will obviously still run away with titles that are better than everyone else, but that would happen anyway.

Yep. If the sizes did increase, chances are we’d all be wanting them reduced again quite quickly. Also, pretty much nobody would ever win a title again apart from Celtic, whereas the majority of clubs have a punt at one (even if it’s a fairly outside one) as it stands.

Should be two up, two down though, and I’d inclined to have third-top/bottom play-offs too to shake things up. Too many teams end up too comfortable in their league despite never troubling either end of it, so it’d be all to play for pretty much everybody.

Well at least it's a more productive activity than his other great calling in life - a 'Herbalife distributor'.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

So that’ll be O’Ware, McManus, McKinnon & Quitongo that have left us recently for greener grass and absolutely fucked it. Am I missing anyone out?

That can never be said of someone who has still got punting Herbalife to live for.

Snake McKinnon settling for a plucky draw at shite like Peterhead on the opening day of the season* - instead of rocking up and smacking them about the place in the dying minutes like The Famous did twice during our La Decima campaign - leads to Grangemouth failing to win the title and promotion. By. A. Single. Point.

Absolutely delicious.

And also getting scudded home and away by 'Clyde' (check: 'Clydebank'? Ed.)

Scottish football can just stop right here btw, with Grangemouth and Partick being CONFIRMED seaside league failures.

Ayr: hard lines as well, mebbe* your town will produce a cup winning franchise team in Scottish Football Version 2.0.

This boy's Twitter feed was a great laugh last season when we buried them. He's not disappointing today either, you'll all be glad to know. Time to pile in.

I notice from the above feed that McManus' fellow Herbalife flogger and self-declared zany funster Michael 'Mikey' Doyle is fizzing about the decision as well - good. Needless to say the penetration of his insight on SPFL votes is no better than it was on his final fucking ball.

My guess is they’ll let it hang over the process in order to force the reconstruction issue.

Sounds about right.

I hope all these decisions stick but the SPFL have handled this so badly, and given Ann fucking Budge (who can't even wear a hard hat properly) a starring role, so I fear the worst.
