The Morton weekly podcast

Really enjoying the effort coming out of the club just now on the media front. Best it's been in my time supporting the team.

I'm guessing some people won't want to listen to an interview with ex players that a lot of fans don't like, but it should be an interesting enough listen.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

Brian Graham has been cancelled.

Just a shame that didn't happen about this time 33 years ago.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Why!?

His episode is now going out under Callum's own blog's title after some fans complained that he shouldn't be on the Morton section of his podcast.

We will still get the interview plus we get Kudus now too.

You'd think that such a self-declared diehard fan who struggled to that status under the 'unique' burden of, err, living in inverclyde and having Celtic fans in his family would already have known Brian Graham's standing among the rest of the support i.e. he's a complete bellend.

  • 2 weeks later...

The guy who runs the weekly podcast is now using his anonymous Twitter account to have a go at the club's media officer and SLO for not giving his podcast enough credit and publicity. The guy's a fucking charlatan.

You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!

Saw the posts but never thought it was him being needy.

The media guy using his personal account to have a go at people and bug himself up isn't much better.

I’m sorry to say that don’t have an anonymous account. You are correct when you say that I know the person who’s account it is and I don’t appreciate the fuss they’ve caused as I’ve explained to them. No need for it at all! I’ve had more than enough publicity from the club and fans so no issue from me I can assure you. Listening figures are very good and I’m delighted with how it and all club media is going. Massive step up in recent months which is great to see and hopefully being enjoyed by fans as that’s what matters!

So there is someone else, close to you, who has connections with Manchester, Man Utd, Morton and (in older tweets from the account) Celtic? And this person has decided in the last hour, to delete their Twitter account?

To quote Chewin The Fat - I think I can smell shite.
