capitanus
Out of interest, what is everyone's broadband speeds, who is your server and how much are you paying per month? Not a game of one-upmanship or anything like that, but in the market for a new supplier for the first time in a several years and keen to know what others are paying for what service. https://www.broadbandspeedchecker.co.uk/ *insert signature here*

TONofmemories
Talk Talk, just as good as the Virgin deal I had. £25 a month. TIME FOR CHANGE!
BishopBrennan
In my last flat I went with Plusnet, I wouldn't recommend them. Their engineer has made an arse of installing the line, but insisted that it was me who couldn't install the modem properly. It took about 3 weeks to get it all sorted. You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!
capitanus
What kind of speeds are/were you getting? *insert signature here*
TONofmemories
Off top of my head, 67MB or something. I'm rarely in my flat in Greenock tbh, so I barely use it, but it was good enough to work from home and get everything done. TIME FOR CHANGE! BishopBrennan
What kind of speeds are/were you getting? I can't remember off the top of my head, but it was a decent speed once everything was installed. You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks! Alibi
I was with BT but when the contract expired they were wanting nearly £60 a month (which included line rental and some other stuff, but expensive compared to the deals they were offering new subscribers). I also ran a speed test and couldn't get over 22MB, and when the guy came to find what the problem was he discovered that my line was speed capped at 22MB when they were charging me for what was supposed to be a 75MB service. I arranged to change to Vodafone as I have my mobile with them, and it was going to be £24 a month with no line rental, and for another £6 a month they would add unlimited calls. When BT got the notice of change, they phoned me up & offered to do the lot, calls, everything, for £25 a month, so to avoid having to change email, addresses etc I stayed with them, and as the speed cap was removed I'm getting what I'm paying for (plus a large refund for the time they had my line restricted). I don't like companies that try to rip you off, so will be keeping an eye on them but currently seem to get about 50MB+. You probably need to check the speed every so often as they throttle it back without telling you. "Any nation given the opportunity to regain its national sovereignty and which then rejects it is so far beneath contempt that it is hard to put words to it."
