That’s far more concerning than last week’s showing, not least because Partick are brutal. The attack has got enough effort but no quality while the defence lacks ability and organisation. Welsh with Millar not really protecting him in a narrow right midfield role in front of him is a disaster waiting to happen. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. Tumilty was part of the problem in that area of the team and not a solution. That Welsh playing out of position can’t do the job either doesn’t suddenly turn Tumilty into the next Gianluca Zambrotta. They are both poor Rogers’ goals to games ratio is worse, but is also skewed significantly by the Caley Thistle and Dundee United games, where while he wasn’t good enough the majority of the goals were sold by the defence in front of him. Ramsbottom came back into the team after that when Hopkin attempted to make the team in front of them more conservative by abandoning any semblance of an attacking gameplan and we started losing games by one rather than getting pumped, with at least one goal in four of the five games since being caused directly by a Ramsbottom howler. Rogers is also the only one to keep a league clean sheet. On his performances so far Rogers is a poor goalkeeper, whereas on his performances Ramsbottom isn’t a goalkeeper.
