Toby Posted July 10, 2019 Author Share Posted July 10, 2019 I've set up semi final polls before we whittle it down to the final 25, which is the most I can put in a single poll question. A few things to note; Players are first considered as former (or current) Rangers players than anything else (Steven Pressley for example could've appeared under any category) as a separate Rangers poll was initially suggested. Rangers are considered under their 1872-2012 and their 2012-present day guise in this instance, in spite of them not being the same club. After that, players are considered as former (or current) Celtic players than being linked to provincial clubs. Jim Goodwin is the only exception, such was the insignificance of his spell at Celtic. There are no limits to the amount of votes. You have until 00:00 on Thursday 18th July for semi final votes to be counted. Given the amount of candidates under each category, there will be eleven from the Rangers category and seven from each of the others moving onto the final. vikingTON Posted July 11, 2019 Share Posted July 11, 2019 Seeing as we can vote for as many candidates as we want, I went for the following to progress from their heats: Rangers (d.) - Brown; Jardine; Smith; Traynor Celtic (disappointingly weak field) - Lennon; Provan Others: Jackson; Keevins Regretting that Alec Totten, John Lambie and sash-bash specialist and ‘Forfar fairytale’ loser Dick ‘dick’ Campbell didn’t all spring to mind sooner tbh. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. Rangers glaring omission: The Cheeky Chappie and friend of 'thu Eeeeeeeze-dales' (and therefore definitely the next Morton manager BTW), Super Arsehole Muck Hoist.
