If Brian Graham is available on loan I'd take him immediately.

Get in the sea, your grace.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

My lasting memory of Brian Graham was in the Albert just before he left, he sighed and told me 'your mates are hard work'. He was getting pelters for missing a sitter at Forthbank earlier that day.

When we think of players who have left Morton and had good careers this side of the Millennium, he is often overlooked but has to be regarded as one of the best ones. Granted, its not as high profile as Faoud Bachirou however he has played for some big clubs and has won 2 SPFL Championships (Ross County and Hibernian) a League Cup and a Challenge Cup, which is more than Chris Millar or Jim McAllister have done with their careers.

All that aside, if Partick want him then he'll he going there, not here.

Chris Millar won the old First Division and the Scottish Cup.

Brian Graham won two Championships and a League Cup. He also offered you a square go when he was about twelve.

He did that. But have you not read vikingTON’s memo? The League Cup isn’t a major trophy and doesn’t count. You should know that by now.

DavyDOB will be desperate to get the money together to sign him, now he knows there is somebody out there mental enough to fight you.

Brian Graham has been a useful goalscorer but never a regular starter, though. Chris Millar was an integral part of St Johnstone's Scottish Cup win and helping them finish 3rd in the Premier League (as well as a few 4th placed finishes). He made hundreds of starts in a top six Premier League side. I think his achievements surpasses those of a guy who bounced between leagues, was a failure at Cheltenham, and came off the bench in a League Cup final.

I'm not questioning Graham's success. He's been far more successful than Morton have. But he hasn't been as successful as Millar.

Agree with this entirely. Graham's done well for himself for sure, but Millar's career has definitely been the best. I really admire how Millar's achieved what he has too: dropped down from Celtic, took a bit of time to really get stuck in but he learned quickly, adapted to different roles, came back in to the team after signing the pre-contract with St Johnstone and his attitude was exemplary before going on to be a big part of a great period for them. If more players conducted themselves in the way Millar has, both Morton and Scottish football in general would have been much better off over the years.

I remember that miss. Guy up the back of the stand was giving Graham pelters. Graham looked up at him and it got worse. Could be wrong but I'm sure the guy told Graham he'd see him after the game. Came across as a bit of a dick.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

Hamilton Academical midfielder Darian Mackinnon is on the verge of completing a loan move to Partick Thistle for the remainder of the season. (Herald On Sunday)

Id rather have Lyon, Colville, Jacobs, Cadden, Nesbitt & Mcallister in our midfield than some Hamilton reject who is over the hill by all accounts.

"Any nation given the opportunity to regain its national sovereignty and which then rejects it is so far beneath contempt that it is hard to put words to it."

Pretty relieved he hasn't signed for us tbh. Not exactly a big improvement on what Thistle already have either. Bannigan is better on the ball and I didn't think they pulled out of any tackles in the games against us.
