  1. I'm not saying it's ideal and it could be improved but at the same time you can't expect to turn up to big games 5/10 mins before kick off and stroll right in.
  2. Was fine about quarter to. Started up towards the ticket office and in within a few minutes. Could be better but people could go earlier when it's a game where there's going to be a bigger crowd. Get the same complaints at Scotland games with people leaving it til the last minute.
  3. It was offside I think. Thought we looked poor after he went off for a spell up to when they scored. Not the best of decisions.
  4. Hopefully we get contract extensions too - other teams in the league are obviously sniffing about players in our league. Not sure we need to do much business in this window but it would be good to tie down some of the players going out of contract.
  5. Aye, the social media is a bit cringy and overkill with the amount of retweets. The odd link to join MCT wouldn't go amiss either - highlighting some key things the club do isn't a bad thing obviously but the aim should be promote what MCT do, are there for and to increase membership.
  6. Yeah, I mostly agree and the board and ownership structure is obviously a good thing but the purely MCT work should be about holding the club to account, providing as much transparency on how the club is run as is reasonable to members (who are essentially the stakeholders) and pushing for more members as much as possible. I don't really think any of this is being done and it's can't just be there as a pathway to the board.
  7. I'm not actually sure what MCT do now to be honest apart from pass the contributions through to the club.
  8. I think they ask you just to set up a new subscription.
  9. Aye, a retweet of the clubs post and tagging the general manager for some reason instead of saying you could be part of this for £10 a month or something with a link to join seems a bit of a wasted opportunity.
  10. Aye, I think there's a few players who could be doing better before they can be disappointed in not playing as much - I think Bearne is included in that.
  11. He's been OK in flashes but I think he needs to do more to get more game time.
  12. Airdrie games are normally quite reliable on iptv apparently...
  13. On the topic of Broadfoot - he's been decent recently and probably deserves a bit of credit after a difficult start. Deserves his place in the team now.
  14. Aye it's a bit of a strange situation. If Dougie wanted to keep him for whatever period then he'd want the best value possible for the club but is the chairman looking for best value for the club or his client where he'll get a percentage of any fee/ wage.
  15. Don't really agree with the comments on time wasting or that it was just about long throws. They were put under a lot of pressure with our work rate and high press and we actually passed through the midfield a lot better of them and were tidier in possession. Didn't see much time wasting - the ref had a word with O'Connor at a throw where he wasn't any slower than anyone else and Mullens booking wasn't actually that bad - you see a lot worse elsewhere and I actually thought we looked like we wanted another goal more than the just seeing out the game.
  16. We're desperate for a left back and know what he can do. Can't be many that are available do worth a gamble.
  17. Just seen that there. 'Troops' is a bit cringey.
  18. Aye, was about to say the same. Not always good for a youth player to be thrown into something like that either (although Dougie will know his mentality better than us).
  19. Nonsense. I don't think many people would have kept McGregor at the time and multiple managers haven't thought Lyon puts in the effort needed consistently enough to play ever week. Strapp doesn't have a club either which suggests an issue (appreciate there's an injury but it was known he was leaving and he didn't have offers). There's no way the thought that Mcgratten playing proves any sort of point has ever come into Imries head either.
  20. Can't agree with Muirhead not being good it bringing others into play. I think he's good at that but as a team there's not really been much around him to allow it.
  21. Agree it needs to be separate but I think the important bit is to show where the overlap is an how the members can influence the company they essentially own.
  22. I'd be happy with that as a permanent thing tbh. Places like https://www.boxpark.co.uk/shoreditch/ are just made up of old containers and are quite good. Suppose there's the balance of being a pub that is suitable for a couple of hours and somewhere that can make money during the week that's got a bit more facilitates.
